Another night with a full slate for the Wasaren boys, and with it, another Hoosick Falls victory to run their league winning streak to 44 straight and 74 of their last 76.

Hoosick Falls 58  Tamarac 46

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Jon Kempf 18       Tristan Williams 16       Max Kipp 12    Bengals – Jacob DeFreest 13

Key Stat:  The Falls trailed 41-39 entering the final period but clamped down defensively, holding the high-scoring Bengals to five points in the period, while putting 19 on the board themselves in securing the well-earned “W”.

 

Cambridge 50  Waterford 41

Leading Scorers:  Indians – Brian Hall 18      Jeffrey Burke 14      Nick Murphy 10       Fordians – Mike Castracani 18        Bobby Valigorski 16

Key Stat:  Cambridge won each of the first three quarters, building a nine point cushion and closed it out over the final eight minutes to post their first league win of the season.

 

Hoosic Valley  55  Saratoga Catholic 49

Leading Scorers:  Valley – Nick Santiago 14       Matt Rowe 13       Zach Ryan 10       Saints – Ryan McCarroll 12

Key Stat:  The Indians used a 32-17 advantage over the middle two periods to take control, evening their league mark at 2-2 with the win.

 

Mechanicville 64  Stillwater 49

Leading Scorers:  Red Raiders – Devin Garland 19       Luciano D’Ambro 14       Nick Billert 12        Warriors – Brian McNeil 16       Josh Luca 10       Grant Baker 12

Key Stat:  The Raiders built a 54-32 advantage through three quarters, and cruised to their third league “W” in four outings.

 

Greenwich 65  Berlin 35

Leading Scorers:  Witches – John Walsh 18       Carson Mosher 16         Mountaineers – Brandon Rifenburg 9

Key Stat:  Greenwich won every quarter in posting the comfortable win over the Mountaineers.

  1. In regards to hoosick falls,correct me if I’m wrong. They are not winners of consecutive 70+ games in wasaren league play. As in an earlier post you mentioned that streak is at 40 something.
