Rick Lyons Staff Writer: The Granville Golden Horde squeezed past Salem 43-42 on Saturday afternoon, posting their third straight win to start the season.
The Horde led 22-17 at the half and hung on for their second win of the season over the Generals.
Alexis Smith scored 14 points, and Gabby Hunt and Brooke Perry each added 10 for Granville who begin league play on Wednesday when they play host to the Indians of Cambridge.
