Take Away:  Toni DeLorenzo ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning breaking a 1-1 deadlock, and Collins and the Tamarac defense closed things out in the bottom of the frame to earn the narrow road “W” over the Raiders.  Both Collins and Rogers were dominant from the circle allowing just six hits combined on the afternoon.  With the win Tamarac stays perfect on the season at 7-0, 9-0.

Take Away:  The Panthers hung crooked numbers in each of the first five innings, rolling over the Mountaineers Friday afternoon in Hoosick Falls.  With the victory the Falls moves to 6-7, 7-8 on the season.

Take Away:  In a game that produced just three total hits, the Fordians pushed two runs across in the fourth frame which proved to be enough with Soden dominating from the bump.  The Fordian pitcher fanned 10 and allowed only a pair of singles in shutting down the Valley attack at Kelts Stadium on Thursday.

Take Away:  It was a wild one in Tamarac on Thursday that saw runs scored in every half inning but two, 17 combined errors committed, 11 by Tamarac, and the Bengals outhit 12-9 but still securing the victory.  Seven pitchers toed the slab between the teams with six giving up multiple runs in their mound stints.  Stillwater led 8-5 after two frames, before Tamarac took the lead with a six-run third.  Stillwater answered with a 3-spot in the fourth to knot things at 11-11, but the Bengals plated four in the bottom of the inning and added five runs in their fifth frame to build a seemingly secure 20-12 advantage.  Stillwater responded with four runs in the top of the sixth and a lone tally in the seventh before Tamarac was able to get the 21st out, ending a memorable afternoon at Clum’s Corners.

Take Away:  The Raiders trailed 1-0 after the first but dominating the rest of the way, scoring runs in each of the next five frames while shutting down the Saints attack, posting the one-sided road “W” on Wednesday.  Richardson threw seven strong innings, and the Raider defense was flawless behind the big right-hander.  The Mechanicville bats rattled for 16 safeties with Richardson, Coreno, Couser, Mark Pingelski, Fen Egan and Jack Brue all enjoying multiple hit games.

The Saints held leads of 1-0, and 2-1 over the first three frames but Mechanicville answered every time taking the lead for good in the pivotal fifth inning.

Take Away:  Tied 3-3 entering the seventh, Glover’s RBI knock proved to be the difference in the Panthers road win.  Hoosick Falls rides a strong pitching outing by Sparks and moves to 5-6 in league play with the victory.  Greenwich with the loss goes to 4-4 in Wasaren action.
