Congratulations to Hoosic Valley’s Renee Parry, our newest Wasaren Sportsnet Player of the Week.
Many weeks it’s difficult to select our player of the week award winner as there is never a shortage of deserving athletes, but when I saw this stat line midweek I looked no further.
Renee had a good month, on a Wednesday afternoon at Clums Corners in the Indians 16-3 victory over the Bengals. The Valley junior went yard twice hitting a two, and three-run jack, added a double and single while driving in five for the surging Indian squad.
Congratulations to Renee, this week’s recipient of the Wasaren Player of the Week Award.
A trio of Wasaren teams were in action Saturday as softball squads from Greenwich and Hoosick Falls both played a pair of non league contests, while the Tamarac boys played seven with Berne-Knox.
