Lady Saints defeat UMA in a landslide 76-46
The Lady Saints took care of business and beat University of Maine at Augusta handily 76-46 on Saturday, Feb. 6.
CSJ able to yet again use their terrific full court pressure defense to flutter Augusta and cause turnovers, which led to 24 fast break points for the Saints. Jazz Laracuente had another terrific performance, leading CSJ to victory with a game high 28 points, to go along with six boards and four steals. Continue reading
Lady Saints win big vs. conference foe NHTI Jan. 26
The College of St. Joseph women’s basketball team won in a rout against the NHTI Lynx with a final score of 90-62 on Jan. 26. It was another huge game from the reigning USCAA Player of the Year Regina Steele, who also got a lot of help from her teammates as three other players were able to finish in double figures. The Fighting Saints earned a win over Great Bay CC on Jan. 16 with a final score of 81-66. CSJ played a great team game, sharing the ball and working together to ensure the 15 point victory.
