This week’s Wasaren Player of the Week award goes to Hoosic Valley’s Danielle Stannard.

Danielle scored five points in a win over Stillwater on Wednesday and 11 points in the Valley’s 31-30 victory over Hoosick Falls on Friday.

While 16 points for the week is a modest total, no player hit a bigger shot in the league than the 5’7″ guard did Friday night, burying the game-winner as time expired, handing the Falls their first league loss while moving the Indians to just a game back in the Wasaren race.
