As Wasaren teams begin the second half of the league schedule a big pair of games will be played today when the Greenwich baseball and softball squads make the short trip down Route 40 to take on the Indians of Hoosic Valley.

Greenwich has yet to suffer a league loss in either sport, while the Valley clubs have just one blemish each on their league mark.  While no trophies will be handed out today the outcome of today’s contests will go a long way in determining the eventual Wasaren champ.

I invite everybody to weigh in as to who you think will walk off the Schaghticoke diamonds this afternoon with “W’s”.
