Leading Hitters: Avon – Aaron Ghent 2b,  Bryce Reed 2b, Nick Fasoldt 2b,    Witches – Derek McPhail 2b

Key Stat: The Witches tied things at 1-1 in the top of the third, but Avon scored three times in the bottom of the inning to take control.  Both clubs manged six hits, with Greenwich committing three errors while Avon played mistake-free baseball.

It was simply an outstanding campaign for Greenwich as they compile Wasaren, Section II, and Regional titles in going 22-4 on the year.  Congratulations to the Greenwich coaches and players on a very special spring season.
