
Holy Trinity 49 Cambridge/Salem 28: Pride quarterback Joe Tortello threw for 335 yards and five touchdowns leading Holy Trinity past Cambridge/Salem in a battle of undefeated squads in Cambridge Saturday afternoon.
Tortello connected on scoring strikes of 80 and 13 yards to Nacier Hundley and tossed three more to Noah Foster of 10, 57 and 90 yards.
The Pride led 21-8 at halftime and scored 14 unanswered to start the third period to take control.
The Indians rushed the football well throughout the contest, racking up 443 yards on the ground with senior running back Calvin Schneider picking up 164 yards with a touchdown, senior Hunter Day 98 yards and two scores, and Kaedin Ogilvie adding 89 yards and a touchdown.
The Class B Pride moves to 5-0 on the year with the win, while Cambridge/Salem goes to 4-1 nd will look ahead to a road game in Whitehall next Saturday. Continue reading
