
Waterford 3 Mechanicville 3
In an excellent match between to quality squads Mechanicville and the Waterford battled through regulation and extra sessions that ended in a 3-3 deadlock.
Mechanicville took control early on a pair of Tom Wendel goals with both coming in the first 15 minutes of play.
Waterford answered before the half when Matt Soden found Josh Catanzarita who finished, trimming the Fordian deficit to 2-1 heading into the break.
Just two minutes into the second half Waterford benefitted when Mechanicville put in an own goal, tying the score at 2-2.
In the 61st minute Waterford took the lead when Catanzarita fired a shot past the diving Joe Devito and the Fordians held the slim 3-2 advantage.
Waterford nearly closed things out, but with 0:02 remaining the visitors tied the game when Scotty Lynch curled in a corner kick sending the two squads into extra minutes where the defensive units refused to yield.
Mechanicville keeper Joe Devito finished with 10 saves on the night, while Fordian keeper Logan Kelly turned back 12 shots for Waterford.
Berlin/New Lebanon 4 Saratoga Catholic 2
The Mountaineers traveled to Saratoga and started fast, grabbing an early 2-0 advantage on scoring strikes from Logan Healy and Robert Beckelman.
Spa Catholic got on the board just before the half when Bobby Cousineau rang the bell sending the teams into halftime with the visitors holding a 2-1 lead.
Soon after the break Healy connected on a pair of tallies giving him a hat trick and the Mountaineers control at 4-1.
The Saints immediately got one back when Cousineau found the back of the net for his second goal of the match, but Spa Catholic would draw no closer as the B/NL defense stiffened to close out the road “W”.
Saratoga Catholic keeper Sal Ciero and B/NL keeper Tyler Shuhart saved eight shots apiece with both making some big saves down the stretch.
Hoosick Falls 2 Tamarac 1 (Tuesday)
Jaid Kaminski scored both Panther goals off feeds from Grace Houghton and Kaydence Keelen, leading the Falls past Tamarac in action on Tuesday.

Greenwich 3 Cambridge 2 Greenwich 4 Waterford 1
In a Tri match played at the Battenkill Country Club, Greenwich earned a pair of match wins getting past Cambridge and the Fordians of Waterford.
In the match with Cambridge Luke MacDonald claimed medalist honors with a round of 39, and Mason MacDonald also picked up a point for the visitors from Cambridge, but Greenwich swept flights three, four and five with Kiernan Haskell, Josh Pratt and Brigid Tolman all earning match “W’s”.
In the Waterford match-up the Witches Erik Wade’s 43 was top score, and Sam Ziehm, Omar DeJesus, and Brayden Stutzman all joined Wade in the winner’s circle for Greenwich.
Evan Cavosie claimed the Waterford point with a win in flight five.
