Quarterback Austin Rozowicz threw for 147 yards with touchdown strikes to Colin Richardson and Marcus Robinson to lead M/HV past BP on Saturday.

M/HV rushed for 210 yards led by Nate Hernadez with 65 yards on five carries and Rocko Crivelli who gained 63 yards on 13 totes.  Jordan Barnes and Robinson added rushing touchdowns for Mechanicville/Hoosic Valley who with the win move to 2-1 on the year.

The Fordians connected five times before the break and coasted to the shutout victory over Cohoes.

Payton Galuski and Mia O’Brien both scored hat tricks, with Addyson Galuski adding a pair of goals and four assists, while Cassidy McClement connected on a single tally.

Fordian keeper Maddy Atwood saved four shots and combined with the Waterford “D” for the clean sheet.

After a scoreless first half Tim Motsiff and Gavin Rittenhouse found the range with scoring strikes leading Glens Falls to the road win over Mechanicville.

Glens Falls keeper Ayden Grieve saved 11 shots in earning the shutout while Mechanicville keeper Joey Devito stopped 12 shots for the home squad who move to 5-1-1 on the season.

Matthew Salvadore earned medalist honors with the low round of 41, leading Mechanicville to the sweep of Waterford in action at Fairways of Halfmoon on Friday.

Joining Salvadore in the winner’s circle were teammates Jack Salvador and Connor Dion with rounds of 42’s and Nate Salvadore and Jacob Pickett with a pair of 48’s.

Scores for Waterford included Jonny Atwood’s 48, Werkie Hayes Dylan Day and Derrick Pontore with rounds of 51 and Evan Cavosie who shot a 57 in the match.

With the win Mechanicville remains undefeated with their season mark at 9-0.
