Waterford Defeats Mechanicville, Cambridge Tops the Falls, Mechanicville Golf Moves to 10-0

Waterford spread the wealth on Monday night with four different Fordians finding the back of the net in their 4-1 “W” over Mechanicville.

Addy and Payton Galuski scored unassisted goals, while Rylan Charbonneau connected off an Imani Bloomfield feed and Cassisdy McClement finished a Payton Galuski find to lead the Waterford attack.

Marissa Krosky tallied for Mechanicville in the match.

Fordian keeper Maddy Atwood saved five shots on the night and Mechanicville’s keeper Ava Grimmick turned back seven.  

Cambridge 2   Hoosick Falls 0

Cambridge scored a goal in each half and their defense shut down the Panther attack in the home win on Monday.

Sam Crandall and Emily DeSouza split the posts for Cambridge and keeper Lexie Pedersen saved nine shots for the clean sheet, while Hoosick Falls keeper Jenna Backes also saved nine shots in the contest.  

Mechanicville 3   Cohoes 1

Mechanicville started fast, finding the range with a pair of goals in the first seven minutes, on their way to the home “W” Monday night.  

Rece Dyer, Logan Starks and Ethan Raucci all connected with scoring strikes for Mechanicville off a pair of Declan Charette feeds and a single assist from Alex Shakow.

Joey Devito saved eight shots for Mechanicville while Cohoes keeper Charlie Gendron stopped 11 shots in the loss.  

Mechanicville 4.5   Greenwich .5

Nate and Jack Salvadore shared medalist honors with rounds of 39 in the comfortable victory over Greenwich on Monday at the Mechanicville Golf Course.

Nate, Jack, Connor Dion, Ben Amato and Ryan Shultz all earned match wins, while Mechanicville’s Jacob Pickett and the Witches Braden Stutzman split the point in flight four.

With the win Mechanicville goes to 10-0 on the season.
