The Fordians used three second half goals to gain control, on their way to the road win over the Valley on Tuesday.
Waterford opened the scoring in the 37th minute when Tristan Karutasu took a feed from Josh Catanzarita for the finish and a 1-0 lead and the Fordians carried that advantage into the halftime break.
In the 48th minute it was Karatasu connecting again extending the Waterford cushion to 2-0.
One minute later Karatasu rang the bell for the third time, completing the hat trick and putting the Fordians in control at 3-0.
The Valley got on the board in the 65th minute off a corner kick and an own goal by Waterford.
Catanzarita wrapped up the scoring late in the half, sending a rocket to the corner of the net and Waterford closed out the win in Schaghticoke.
Logan Kelley saved five shots in net for the Fordians while Valley keeper Dem Neary stopped 15 shots in the match for the Hawks.

Jacob Pickett earned medalist honors with a low round of 40 in Mechanicville’s sweep of Hoosic Valley in action at the Mechanicville Golf Club on Tuesday.
Nate Salvadore, Jack Salvadore, Connor Dion and Ben Amado all earned match wins for the 11-0 Mechanicville team.
Hoosick Falls 4 Waterford 1
Aiden Fleming carded the low score of 43 in the Falls comfortable win over the Fordians at Fairways of Halfmoon.
Other scores for the Panthers included Dylan Callahan 45, Michael Plusch 48, and Spenser Tate’s round of 48.
Scores for Waterford included Derrick Pontore 47, Dylan Day 50, Werkie Hayes 55, and Jonny Atwood’s 58.
With the win Hoosick Falls improves to 6-2 on the year while Waterford moves to 2-7 with the loss.
Stillwater 8 Hoosic Valley 0 (Monday)
Stillwater found the range for six goals before the break and cruised to the win at home over the Valley on Monday.
Bridget Coon with a hat trick and Elliot Pattenaude and Karissa Mitchell with two goals each led the Stillwater attack. Brooke Hodgson rounded out the scoring with a single tally.
Stillwater keepers Miranda Price and Charisma Salecker combined for the shutout and needed just one save for the clean sheet.
Hoosic Valley keeper Sophie Svec saved 15 shots in the match.
Berlin/New Lebanon 2 Cabridge 1
Logan Kelly found the back of the net for a pair of first half strikes leading the Mountaineers to the narrow “W” over Cambridge on Tuesday.
Garrett Hackman scored the Cambridge goal off a Tully Maher feed before the break and the two squads went to intermission with the B/NL holding a 2-1 advantage, which proved to be the final score with both defensive units stepping up after the break.
