
In action at the Saratoga Spa Golf Course on Thursday the Wasaren League Invitational played out and the Hoosick Falls Panthers came away with the team title compiling a score of 235 just three shots in front of Mechanicville at 238, with Greenwich in third place at 265.
Team scoring is the total of the top three individual scores from each squad.
Tamarac and Stillwater finished tied in fourth place, followed by Cambridge, Spa Catholic, Waterford and Hoosic Valley.
Individually Hoosick Falls Aiden Fleming earned top honors with a round of 71, followed by Mechanicville’s Jack Salvadore at 74 and Cambridge’s Luke MacDonald who carded a round of 76.

Tom Wendell led the Mechanicville attack with four goals while Ethan Raucci, Scott Lynch and Rece Dyer all added single tallies in the shutout of the Mountain Lions.
Joey Devit with two saves, and the Mechanicville defense combined for the clean sheet.

Isaac Wiley and Landon Simon connected on scoring strikes for the Hawks which was just enough to secure the nonleague “W” over the Tanagers of Hartford in a physical match played on Thursday.
Stillwater 8 Lake George 0
Stillwater found the back of the net four times in each half in coasting to the victory over Lake Goerge.
Seven players found the range for Stillwater led by Brooke Hodgson who connected twice, with Karissa Mitchell, Lucy Rubenstein, Bridget Coon, Mackenzie Hendersen, Mayzie Gibeault and Emmersen Patenaude all adding single strikes.
Waterford 1 Niskayuna 1
Waterford’s Imani Bloomfield and Niskayuna’s Addison Price scored goals as the two teams battled to a 1-1 tie on Thursday.
Fordian keeper Maddy Atwood saved seven shots with Nisky’s Anna Joyce turning back four shots in the match.
