Mechanicville took control with a four-goal first half and cruised to the Class B semifinal win over Hudson Wednesday night at LaSalle Institute.  

Tom Wendel led the way with a hat trick with Scotty Lynch adding a pair of scoring strikes and Declan Charette a single tally to pace the Mechanicville attack. 

Keeper Joey Devito saved three shots and combined with the Mechanicville defense for the clean sheet.  It was the eighth time in their last ten outings that Mechanicville has shutout their opponent. 

With the win top-seeded Mechanicville advances to the Class B title game on Saturday in Queensbury for a matchup with #2 Greenville in a 1:30 start.
