Hoosic Valley 4   Hudson Falls 1

On Senior Day in Schaghticoke the Valley eased out to a 1-0 halftime lead and used a big second half to notch the victory over the visitors from Hudson Falls.

The Hawks scored the first goal of the match in the 30th minute when Landon Reilly found Isaac Wiley with a nice chip pass and after the Wiley finish the Valley held a 1-0 advantage.

After the break the Hawks put things away with a flurry of scores midway through the half.

This time it was Reilly on the receiving end of a Gabe Coffin find, and when his shot hit the back of the net the Valley led 2-0.

Minutes later it was Coffin and Wiley weaving through Hudson Falls’ defenders culminating with a no-look feed from Coffin and Wiley split the posts for the 3-0 cushion.

Hoosic Valley’s final tally came off a cascading corner kick that Coffin, rising above the fray, finished with a header extending the lead to 4-0.

Late in the game Hudson Falls got on the board when Shawn Thompson connected on an arching shot from 30 yards out.
