Key Stat:  Spa Catholic outscored their guests 16-6 in the fourth quarter.

Take Away:  The Saints held a slim 27-25 after three periods and used a big fourth to pull away for the nonleague win.  

 

Hoosick Falls 59   Salem 28

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Mackenzie Roberson 14   Tatum Hickey 13, 3 3’s   Ava Case 12   Jaedyn Roberson 10        Generals – S. Phillips 12

Key Stat:  The Falls held a 7-0 edge in made triples.  

Take Away: The Panthers held Salem to single numbers in every frame while offensively putting four players in doubles, cruising to the nonleague victory in Hoosick Falls.

 

Schuylerville 54   Greenwich 42

Leading Scorers:  Black Horses – Lukas Sherman 23   Griffin Brophy 15, 5 3’s        Witches – Cal Curtis 14   Ryan Ingber 11

Key Stat:  Schuylerville held Greenwich to single scoring numbers in each of the final three periods.

Take Away:  Greenwich held a 19-18 led after the first eight minutes but Schuylerville’s defense limited the Witches attack the rest of the way and the Black Horses notched the road “W” on Wednesday.

Key Stat:  The Saints held a 6-0 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  A 22-10 first period set the tone in the comfortable non-league win for Spa Catholic.  

Stillwater 67   Hoosic Valley 48

Leading Scorers:  Stillwater – Lukas Lilac 18   Kaelan Leak 17   Carter Wichens 12          Valley – Chris Jones 14   Gabe Coffin 12

Key Stat:  Stillwater took control with a 22-9 third quarter.

Take Away:  Stillwater put three in doubles and built a 52-28 through three periods, on their way to the road victory.

Mechanicville 68   Waterford 29

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Colin Richardson 18   Cruz Goverski 11        Fordians – Derrick Pontore 9

Key Stat:  Mechanicville opened with a 31-point first frame.

Take Away:  All 12 players scored for Mechanicville in a dominating home “W” over the Fordians.

Key Stat:  The Falls opened with a 38-9 first quarter.

Take Away:  Hoosick Falls put five in doubles with 10 players scoring points in the one-sided decision over Cambridge.

Key Stat:  Tamarac connected on 12 of 17 free throws while Spa Catholic attempted and made just one shot from the stripe.  

Take Away:  In a close game throughout the Bengals held an eight-point cushion at 48-41 heading into the final eight minutes and held off the Saints for the home “W”.

Key Stat:  An 11-6 second quarter for Tamarac was the only period decided by more than one point.

Take Away:  The Bengals put three in doubles and nine in the scoring column, notching the tight win at Tamarac.

Key Stat:  Cambridge held a 6-1 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  Cambridge converted on 6 of 8 fourth quarter free throws to seal the well-earned victory over the Saints.

Key Stat:  Mechaniville ran out to a 17-5 lead after one.

Take Away:  Mechanicville places five players in doubles and cruises past the Falls in Mechanicville.

Key Stat:  The Witches won every period.

Take Away:  Greenwich steadily pulled away in posting the home victory over Stillwater on Monday.

Take Away: In a close game throughout the Saints used an 18-11 third frame to take the lead and held off the Falls to post the home win. 

Greenwich 63   Waterford 54

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Ryan Ingber 28   Joe Radovich 15        Fordians – Derrick Pontore  22   Matt Soden 16

Key Stat:  Greenwich connected 10 times from the free throw line while Waterford converted just four.

Take Away:  Trailing 17-12 at the quarter break, Greenwich outscored the Fordians 37-22 over the next two periods to gain control.  

Delaware Academy 62   Cambridge 23

Key Stat:  Delaware Academy held Cambridge to single numbers in three of the four periods.

Take Away:  Academy ran out to a 19-4 lead after the first frame on their way to the comfortable win over Cambridge.

Key Stat:  Leading 10-9 after the first eight minutes Cooperstown used a 17-3 second quarter to take control.

Take Away:  Cambridge played Cooperstown close in every period except the second frame which fueled the Cooperstown “W”.

Key Stat:  Greenwich outscored Cooperstown 42-18 over the middle two periods.

Take Away:  Greenwich won every quarter, put three players in doubles, and cruised to the win in the Delhi Tournament.

Key Stat:  Tamarac converted 15 of 25 free throws while the Saints made 5 of 12 from the stripe. 

Take Away:  Faraj and Beaudoin combine for 55 points as Tamarc puts 75 on the board including a 30-point third frame in the one-sided decision.

Key Stat:  The Valley held Cambridge to single numbers in every period.

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley scored 20 plus in each of the first three quarters on their way to a dominant road “W”.

Key Stat:  Stillwater outscored the Fordians 15-1 in the first frame.  

Take Away:  Stillwater put’s three players in doubles and rides a fast start to the home “W” over Waterford.  

 

Duanesburg 61   Mechanicville 40

Leading Scorers:  Duanesburg – Alison O’Hanlon 37 5 3’s      Mechanicville – Ella Zecca 11

Key Stat:  Duanesburg made more free throws than Mechanicville attempted converting 16 of 20 while Mechanicville connected on 5 of 8 from the stripe.  

Take Away:  Duanesburg built a 35-17 advantage by halftime and used that cushion and a big night from O’Hanlon to notch the victory.
