Key Stat: Stillwater outscored the Falls 15-7 in the final frame.

Take Away: In a close game throughout Stillwater earned the road win with a decisive fourth quarter and moves to 11-4 on the season.  

Hoosick Falls 73   Waterford 41

Leading Scorers:  Falls – Carson Glover 29, 4 3’s         Fordians – Derrick Pontore 21

Key Stat:  The Panthers held a 14-5 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  In control at the break leading 32-19, the Falls turned out the lights with a 29-14 third frame, securing the road “W”.

Stillwater 81   Tamarac 62

Leading Scorers:  Stillwater – Jaxon Mueller 27   Kaelan Leak 23, 5 3’s   Lukas Lilac 17   Carter Wicheins 11  Bengals – Adam Rice 28   Kamerin Edmonds 21

Key Stat:  Stillwater held a 7-1 edge in made triples.

Take Away:  Stillwater built a 42-25 lead by the break and closed things out to remain undefeated at 13-0.

Hoosic Valley 75   Greenwich 39

Leading Scorers:  Valley – Gabe Coffin 20, 4 3’s   Isaac Wiley 15    Chris Jones 15     Witches – Ryan Ingber 14   Joe Radovich 10   

Key Stat:  The Valley opened with a 26-10 first quarter and backed it up with an 18-5 second stanza. 

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley put three players in doubles with the entire roster scoring points in the one-sided “W”, moving to 9-5 on the season.  

Stillwater 86   Spa Catholic 41

Leading Scorers:  Stillwater – Miranda Price 34, 5 3’s   Addison Thornton 25, 5 3’s        Saints – Sophia Ryan 15

Key Stat:  A 31-9 first frame for Stillwater set the tone.

Take Away: Stillwater bottom’s 12 triples and led by Price and Thornton cruise to the one-sided decision.

Emma Willard 49   Hoosick Falls 42

Leading Scorers:  Emma Willard – Alison Opaku 18   Audrey Shields 15   Charlotte Lucarelli 10        Falls – Mackenna Roberson 22   Ava Case 20, 3 3’s

Key Stat:  Just two players scored for Hoosick Falls

Take Away:  Emma Willard used a 12-2 second period to take the lead and held off the Panthers for the road win.

Mechanicville 54   Tamarac 48

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Tanner Eiseman 12   Ella Zecca 11   Lila Christensen 10        Bengals – Kayla Beaudoin 18, 3 3’s   Alex Castiglione 12 

Key Stat:  Mechanicville outscored their hosts 36-25 after the break.   

Take Away:  Mechanicville moves to 13-1 with the road win over the Bengals.

Hoosic Valley 83   Greenwich 35

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Colin Richardson 22   Joe Devito 11        Witches – Langston Hall 11, 3 3’s   Cal Curtis 10

Key Stat:  A 25-3 first quarter for Mechanicville gave the home squad complete control. 

Take Away:  Everyone who dressed for Mechanicville scored points as they go to 11-2, 8-2 with the easy victory over Greenwich.  

Tamarac 62   Cambridge 57

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Kamerin Edmonds 25, 10 assists     Adam Rice 17       Cambridge – Luke MacDougal 19, 5 3’s    

Key Stat:  Tamarac outscored Cambridge 22-12 in the final period.

Take Away:  The Bengals ride Kamerin Edmonds first career double-double and a big fourth frame to the win over Cambridge.

Mechanicville 63   Voorheesville 62

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Colin Richardson 22   Cruz Goverski 16         Blackbirds – Tom Burns 17    Tom Novotny 16   Brady Eitleman 15

Key Stat:  A Cruz Goverski steal with :10 remaining set up the game-winning deuce.

Take Away: Trailing 62-57 with under 1:00 left Mechanicville, used a pair of Colin Richardson scores, sandwiched around a steal to cut the deficit to 62-61 with :15 remaining. After a pair of missed free throws by the Blackbirds and a held ball, Mechanicville’s Cruz Goverski stole the inbounds pass and saved it to Logan Starks who laid it in for the game-winner on Senior Night in Mechanicville. 

Hadley Luzerne 46   Waterford 37

Leading Scorers:  HL – Gabby Graham 18   Madison Lent 12   Leena Haskell 11         Fordians – Rachel McOmber 12   Maddy Atwood 11

Key Stat:  Hadley Luzerne won each of the final three quarters.

Take Away:  Waterford led 11-10 after the first eight minutes but Luzerne edged in front in the second period and held on for the road win.

Saratoga Catholic 50   Lake George 31

Leading Scorers:  Saints – Sophia Ryan 19   Riley Kennedy 10        Lake George – Angelina Minnear 10

Key Stat:  Spa Catholic held the visitors to 11 second half points.

Take Away:  The Saints won every quarter and sealed the win with a 14-2 fourth frame.  

Stillwater 52   Cambridge 41

Leading Scorers:  Stillwater – Miranda Price 23   Addison Thornton 11         Cambridge – Nicole LaFountain 14   Ashley Moses 12

Key Stat:  Stillwater won every quarter.

Take Away:  Stillwater built a 25-16 lead by halftime and rode that cushion and a big scoring night from Price to the home “W”.  With the win Stillwater moves to 9-4 on the year.  

Mechanicville 79   Waterford 35

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Ella Zecca 23   Lilas Christensen 12   Sophia Tamasi 11   Molly DiSiena 10       Fordians – Maddy Atwood 15   Rachel McOmber 13

Take Away:  Mechanicville puts four players in doubles and cruises to their 12th straight win.  

Greenwich 69   Moriah 29

Leading Scorers: Witches – Brooke Kuzmich 25, 4 3’s 6 steals     Adrianna Rojas 22, 6 steals      Moriah – Hannah Gaddor 19, 3 3’s 

Key Stat:  The Witches held Moriah to 13 points thru the first three periods.  

Take Away:  Greenwich stifled Moriah defensively finishing with 23 steals in the run and hung 20 or more points on the board in each of the first three frames, in notching the one-sided decision and staying perfect at 12-0 on the season.

Key Stat:  Stillwater converted 11 of 21 free throws while Hoosic Valley attempted just four from the stripe, connecting one time.

Take Away:  Stillwater won every quarter and slowly pulled away to the comfortable win, their 12th straight to start the season.  

Mechanicville 75   Waterford 34

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Colin Richardson 20   Joey Devito 10   Austin Rozowicz 10         Fordians – Derrick Pontore 12

Key Stat:  Mechanicville lead 24-4 after the first period of play.

Take Away:  Mechanicville ran away from their hosts early, in moving to 9-2, 7-2 on the year.

Spa Catholic 53   Tamarac 49

Leading Scorers:  Saints – Aidan Crowder 21, 6 3’s   Ryan Gillis 10   Tyler Hicks 10        Bengals – Kamerin Edmonds 18, 3 3’s   Adam Rice 17

Key Stat:  Spa Catholic outscored their guests 22-13 in the fourth period.

Take Away:  The Saints trailed 36-31 entering the fourth but used a big final frame to earn the come-from-behind “W”.

Key Stat:  The Falls held an 18-3 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  The Falls bottomed 10, first-half triples, building a 46-16 lead by the break, and cruised to the road win over Cambridge.

Take Away:  The Witches put four players in doubles and cruise to their 11th win in as many outings.  

Mechanicville 65   Emma Willard 51

Take Away:  After dropping their first game of the year, Mechanicville hasn’t lost since running their winning streak to 11 with the victory over Emma Willard.  

Cambridge 45   Hoosick Falls 39

Leading Scorers:  Cambridge – Ashley Moses 14        Panthers – Ava Case 18, 4 3’s   MacKenna Roberson 11

Key Stat:  Cambridge bottomed six of seven free throws in the final frame to close out the “W”.

Take Away:  Cambridge trailed 13-7 after eight minutes of play but took the lead in the third quarter and sealed the win with clutch free throw shooting down the stretch.  

Canajoharie 56   Spa Catholic 53

Leading Scorers:  Canjo – Megan Blakeslee 16, 3 3’s   Zionne Robarge 14         Saints – Sophia Ryan 26

Key Stat:  Canajoharie outscored the Saints 22-9 in the fourth quarter.

Take Away:  Spa Catholic took a 44-34 lead into the final period but Canajoharie caught fire and posted the come-from-behind win over the Saints.
