Key Stat:  The Panthers held a 14-5 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  In control at the break leading 32-19, the Falls turned out the lights with a 29-14 third frame, securing the road “W”.

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley put three players in doubles with the entire roster scoring points in the one-sided “W”, moving to 9-5 on the season.  

Thursday Night Results; Stillwater Rolls, Mechanicville Wins on Two Floors

Key Stat:  A 31-9 first frame for Stillwater set the tone.

Take Away: Stillwater bottom’s 12 triples and led by Price and Thornton cruise to the one-sided decision.

Key Stat:  Tamarac outscored Cambridge 22-12 in the final period.

Take Away:  The Bengals ride Kamerin Edmonds first career double-double and a big fourth frame to the win over Cambridge.

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Colin Richardson 22   Cruz Goverski 16         Blackbirds – Tom Burns 17    Tom Novotny 16   Brady Eitleman 15

Key Stat:  A Cruz Goverski steal with :10 remaining set up the game-winning deuce.

Take Away: Trailing 62-57 with under 1:00 left Mechanicville, used a pair of Colin Richardson scores, sandwiched around a steal to cut the deficit to 62-61 with :15 remaining. After a pair of missed free throws by the Blackbirds and a held ball, Mechanicville’s Cruz Goverski stole the inbounds pass and saved it to Logan Starks who laid it in for the game-winner on Senior Night in Mechanicville.

Key Stat:  The Witches held Moriah to 13 points thru the first three periods.  

Take Away:  Greenwich stifled Moriah defensively finishing with 23 steals in the run and hung 20 or more points on the board in each of the first three frames, in notching the one-sided decision and staying perfect at 12-0 on the season.

Take Away:  After dropping their first game of the year, Mechanicville hasn’t lost since running their winning streak to 11 with the victory over Emma Willard.

Key Stat:  Cambridge bottomed six of seven free throws in the final frame to close out the “W”.

Take Away:  Cambridge trailed 13-7 after eight minutes of play but took the lead in the third quarter and sealed the win with clutch free throw shooting down the stretch.

Key Stat:  Canajoharie outscored the Saints 22-9 in the fourth quarter.

Take Away:  Spa Catholic took a 44-34 lead into the final period but Canajoharie caught fire and posted the come-from-behind win over the Saints.
