Key Stat:  Emma Willard used a big third period to build a double-digit lead.

Take Away:  Tied 32-32 at the break the visitors parlayed a solid third frame into the road win over Mechanicville on a night where Shields, on a transition bucket early in the first period, joined the 1000 career points club.

 

Greenwich 72   Spa Catholic 30

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Brooke Kuzmich 22, 3 3’s   Adrianna Rojas 17, 3 3’s, 14 rebounds   Grace Autiello 12          Saints – Sophia Ryan 6

Key Stat:  Greenwich held the Saints to single scoring numbers in each of the first three quarters.

Take Away:  The Witches led 19-5 after the first eight minutes and cruised from there, moving to 17-0 on the season with the home “W”.

 

Hoosick Falls 57   Waterford 39

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Ava Case 26   Mackenna Roberson 15         Fordians – Maddy Atwood 17

Key Stat:  The Falls outscored Waterford 19-4 in the third period.

Take Away:  Leading 24-22 at the break the Falls used a dominant third frame to take control and closed out the road win over the Fordians.

 

Cambridge 54   Hartford 36

Leading Scorers:  Cambridge – Sam Crandall 20, 3 3’s        Tanagers – Alawanh Dunda 9   Cailin Severence 9, 3 3’s

Key Stat:  Cambridge held the visitors to 12 first half points.

Take Away:  Cambridge doubled up the Tanagers 24-12 by halftime and rode that cushion to the win on Senior Night, led by the only senior on the Cambridge squad, Crandall, who added five steals and five rebounds to go with a 20-point night.
