Key Stat:  Stillwater won every quarter.

Take Away:  Stillwater built a 45-22 lead by halftime and cruised to the easy “W” in Class B, advancing to face #5 Coxsackie-Athens on Wednesday at Albany Academy.

Mechanicville 48   Voorheesville 44

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Lila Christensen 17        Blackbirds – Mia Carmody 20, 4 3’s

Key Stat:  Mechanicville held the Blackbirds to single scoring numbers in each of the first three periods.

Take Away:  Mechanicville held off a fourth quarter run by Voorheesville to earn the win and advance in Class B action.  Mechanicville moves to the quarterfinals where they’ll face #6 Corinth on Wednesday at Greenville.

OESJ 60   Hoosick Falls 47

Leading Scorers:  OESJ – Brooke Trumble 27, 5 3’s   Sydney Hazzard 12   Taylo Hayes 10         Panthers – Mackenna Roberson 26   Ava Case 10

Key Stat:  OESJ outscored the Falls 38-20 over the middle two frames.

Take Away:  Hoosick Falls owned a 17-11 lead after one period but OESJ caught the Panthers by halftime and took control with a big third quarter on their way to the win in Class B action.

Hadley Luzerne 44   Cambridge 38

Leading Scorers:  HL – Gabby Graham 16, 4 3’s          Cambridge – Claire Toleman 13, 3 3’s   

Key Stat:  Hadley Luzerne won each of the first three periods.

Take Away: Hadley built a 39-25 advantage entering the final frame and held off a Cambridge rally to notch the win in Class C.

Warrensburg 51   Waterford 41

Leading Scorers:  Warrensburg – Eli York 19    Hope Sherman 16   Madison Goodspeed 10       Fordians – Rachel McOmber 13   Maddy Atwood 12

Key Stat:  Warrensburg outscored the Fordians 21- 9 in the decisive fourth frame.

Take Away:  Waterford took a slim 32-30 advantage into the final eight minutes where the #4 Burghers came back to post the win in Class C.
