M/HV briefly trailed after Gloversville put six on the board on its opening drive, but Jordan Barnes returned the ensuing kick-off 80 yards for a touchdown giving the home squad a 7-6 lead, on their way to a 25-6 halftime advantage.
A strong rushing attack led the way for M/HV with Marcus Robinson gaining 87 yards on 12 carries with two scores, Barnes with 73 yards on nine totes with a score and DiMaggio Ferrara picking up 64 yards on 10 rushes.
Ferrara added a 46-yard TD in the second half on a scoop and score.
The win moves M/HV to 3-0 on the season and will hit the road next weekend to face Scotia-Glenville on Friday night.

Nehemiah Costine rushed for 207 yards and three touchdowns leading Stillwater to the one-sided decision over Taconic Hills.
Stillwater ran out to a 21-0 lead after one and added two more scores before the break for a 34-0 halftime advantage.
Stillwater’s Landen Staie gained 83 yards on eight carries with a score and John Williams added 68 rushing yards on three carries with a touchdown.
James Cocozzo led the Stillwater defense with 12 tackles on the night while teammate Matt Lutz added a pair of takeaways for the Stillwater squad.

Glens Falls built a 20-0 lead by the break and put away the game with a 20-point third frame, notching the win over HF/T.
Jordan Baker led a Glens Falls ground game that totaled 344 yards, with 198 yards and three rushing scores.
HF/T avoided the shutout when Richie Stifter returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown in the third period.
Greenwich 3 Waterford 1
Nursing a 1-0 halftime lead, the Witches gained a three-score advantage with a pair of strikes after the break and secured the road win over the Fordians in girls’ soccer on Friday night.
Taylor Poovey, Sarah Radovich and Kate Fowler all found the back of the net for Greenwich with Brooke Kuzmich assisting on two of the goals for the Witches.
Mia O’Brien cleaned up a loose ball in front with 6:00 remaining for the Waterford’s lone goal in the match.

Trailing 1-0 at the break, C/S tallied twice in the second half to post the come-from-behind “W” over the Cardinals in boys’ soccer action.
Fort Ann jumped in front on a Braydon Winchell strike from 25 yards out for the 1-0 lead.
C/S’s Luke Leblanc knotted things with a second-half tally, beating three defenders and going far post for the equalizer.
With two minutes remaining, Tully Maher finished a Leblanc feed for the game-winner and a well-earned home victory.
