Leading Scorers:  Witches – Cal Curtis 18    Langston Hall 13    Joe Skiff 12             Mechanicville – Mark Pingelski 25, 3 3’s    Cruz Goverski 18

Key Stat:  Greenwich gained the lead with an 18-9 second period.

Take Away: After an even first quarter the Witches used a big second, to build a 27-16 cushion at the break and held off the visitors from Mechanicville for the home “W”.  

 

Hoosick Falls 61   Waterford 28    Tuesday

Leading Scorers:  Falls – Carson Glover 29      Fordians – Logan Kelley 15

Key Stat:  The Panthers held Waterford scoreless in the second frame.

Take Away:  The Falls started with a 20-6 first period and cruised from there to the home victory over Waterford.

 

Spa Catholic 52   Hoosic Valley 40    Tuesday

Leading Scorers:  Saints – Hury 15    Thompson 10    Redgrave 10         Valley – Logan Reilly 18

Key Stat:  The Saints outscored their hosts 21-12 in the fourth quarter.

Take Away:  In a tight game throughout Spa Catholic owned a 31-28 advantage entering the final eight minutes where they used a big fourth to close out the road win in Schaghticoke.  

 

Stillwater 46   Cambridge 45    Tuesday

Leading Scorers:  Stillwater – Rocco Schneller 17 3, 3’s     Mason Wagner 13          Cambridge – Yakubic 13, 4, 3’s      Yurshak 10

Take Away:  In a tale of two halves Stillwater built a 31-20 lead by the break, but Cambridge battled back and took the lead late on a Yakubic triple, only to see the Stillwater answer with Rocco Schneller scoring the final five points of the game as the host squad prevailed.  

 

 

Mechanicville 66   Waterford 33   Wednesday

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Molly DiSiena 25    Ava Gaspie 15     Riley Lapierre 10

Key Stat:  Mechanicville held the Fordians to singles scoring numbers in every quarter.

Take Away:  Mechanicville built a 35-16 lead by halftime and cruised from there to the home win over the Falls.
