Key Stat:  The Witches held a 9-0 advantage in made threes.  

Take Away:  Greenwich used the long ball and a strong defensive effort to notch their ninth win in as many outings.  

 

Mechanicville 58   Waterford 25

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Molly DiSiena 22     Halee Pasinella 11       Ava Gaspie 10      No stats provided for Waterford

Key Stat:  Mechanicville held the Fordians to single numbers in three of the four quarters.

Take Away:  Leading 24-16 at the break, Mechanicville put the game away with a 22-2 third frame in moving to 7-1 on the year.  

 

Tamarac 44   Hoosic Valley 26

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Kayla Beaudoin 22, 3 3’s         Valley – Bella Jones 8

Key Stat:  Tamarac held the Valley to 12, first-half points.  

Take Away:  The Bengals led 26-12 at the break and weathered an 11-0 run by the Valley to start the third, before closing the game out with an extended run of their own to post the win in Schaghticoke.  

 

Stillwater 66   Spa Catholic 48

Leading Scorers:  Stillwater – Addison Thornton 16     Maddie Chatt 15       Miranda Price 14     Anna Parulla 12        Andie Luskin 10             Saints – Sophia Ryan 19     Addison Whitbeck 15

Key Stat:  Stillwater held the Saints to 15 points over the middle two frames.

Take Away:  Stillwater built a 48-25 lead after three periods and coasted to the road win on the strength of five, double digit scorers, something rare and impressive at the high school level.
