Key Stat:  Tamarac held Catskill to four points in the first half.

Take Away:  Tamarac ran out to a 31-4 lead by the break and cruised from there with the entire Bengals roster getting some run with 10 scoring points in the nonleague win at Clum’s Corners.

Key Stat:  Mechanicville converted 11 of 20 free throws while Voorheesville was just 4 of 11 from the stripe.  

Take Away: In a back-and-forth game that saw Mechanicville leading 30-25 at the break, but trail 41-36 heading into the final period, Mechanicville used a 22-6 fourth frame to earn the road win in Voorheesville. 

 

Hoosic Valley 66   Cambridge 48

Key Stat:  The Valley led 20-10 after the first eight minutes.

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley won each of the first three periods building a 58-32 advantage and closed things out from there, notching the comfortable home “W” that saw everyone in a Valley uniform score points.   

 

Stillwater 69   Lansingburgh 63

Leading Scorers:  Stillwater – Mason Wagner 19      Cody LaFountain 12       John Williams 12        Burgh – De’Vonce Harvey 18      Carson Genevive 10      Tyler Loya 10

Key Stat:  Stillwater connected on 12 of 17 free throws while Lansingburgh converted 4 of 7 from the line.  

Take Away:  Stillwater built a 53-38 cushion through three quarters and held off the visitors from the Burgh over the final eight minutes for the home “W”.  

 

Cambridge 46   Spa Catholic 41

Leading Scorers:  Tigers – Ashley Moses 16         Saints – Sophia Ryan 26

Key Stat:  Cambridge outscored the Saints 17-6 in the final frame.  

Take Away:  In a game tied 20-20 at the break, Spa Catholic took a 35-29 lead into the fourth quarter but couldn’t hold off the Tigers who roared back to post the come-from-behind victory Tuesday night in Cambridge.
