Key Stat:  The Falls doubled up the Patriots 38-19 after the break.

Take Away:  Holding a 29-25 lead at halftime Hoosick Falls pulled away in the final two frames to notch the home “W” over the Mt. Anthony squad from Vermont.

Stillwater 60   Cambridge 22     1/16

Key Stat:  Stillwater opened with a 28-2 first quarter.

Take Away:  Stillwater held Cambridge to single scoring numbers in every period and cruised to the road win over Cambridge last Thursday night.  

Greenwich 60   Peru 21

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Brooke Kuzmich 24 3, 3’s, 8 assists, 8 rebounds        Grace Autiello 11    Peru – Duprey 18

Key Stat:  Greenwich held Peru to single scoring numbers in every quarter.

Take Away:  The Witches led 29-4 at the break, on the way to their 14th win in as many outings this season.  

Tamarac 49   Plattsburg 41

Leading Scorers:  L. Darling 18 6, 3’s      Kayla Beaudoin 16         Plattsburg – Olivia LaMountas 13     A. Weiss 12

Key Stat:  The Bengals held an 8-2 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  Trailing 34-13 entering the final period, Tamarac outscored Peru 18-7 over the last eight minutes to earn the nonleague “W”.

Hoosic Valley 43   Saranac Lake 24    Saturday

Leading Scorers:  Valley – Hannah Coffin 10     No stats reported for Saranac

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley put eight players in the scoring column in notching the comfortable win on Saturday.

Hoosic Valley 34   Ausable Valley 31

Leading Scorers:  Valley – Kaylee Smith 13

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley led 24-12 at halftime but needed a pair of Hannah Coffin free throws with :06 left to seal the victory.  

Tamarac 45   Delaware Academy 42    OT

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Kayla Beaudoin 21           Delaware Academy – Alots 19      Enrust 16

Key Stat:  Tamarac sent the game into overtime with an 18-7 fourth frame.  

Take Away:  Trailing 30-19 after three quarters, the Bengals used the biggest offensive quarter of the game to send it into an extra session where Tamarc prevailed Saturday after at SUNY Adirondack.   With the win the Bengals move to 6-2, 9-3 on the season.

Greenwich 66   Plattsburg 30

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Brooke Kuzmich 19     Bailee Wolfe 18     Olivia Davis 11     Grace Autiello 10     Plattsburg – Weiss 15

Key Stat:  The Witches ran out to a 20-point lead after the first, dropping 26 points in the quarter.

Take Away:  Greenwich won every period, put four players in doubles, and rolled to the nonleague at SUNY Adirondack.  The Witches remain undefeated on the season at 8-0, 13-0.

Duanesburg 54   Hoosick Falls 47

Leading Scorers:  Duanesburg – Jeffry Mulhern 36 4, 3’s          Panthers – Carson Glover 17     Ryan Sparks 11 

Key Stat:  Duanesburg built a 19-9 lead after the first eight minutes with Mulhern scoring 16 points in the frame.  

Take Away:  Duanesburg nursed an early 10-point cushion to the home win lead by Mulhern’s 36-point night.  

Saratoga Catholic 57   Hoosic Valley 39

Leading Scorers:  Saints – Tyler Hicks 18 3, 3’s      Ryan Gillis 11         Ronan Rowe 11               Valley – Wiley 13

Key Stat:  The Saints held an 11-2 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  Spa Catholic built a 32-13 lead by the break and cruised from there to the home win over the Valley.  The Saints put three players in doubles and bottomed 11 triples in moving to 8-0, 13-1 on the year.

Tamarac 68   Greenwich 36

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Dylan Ryan 16 4, 3’s     Sam Kuiken 14     Owen Glynn 12     Kam Edmonds 11       Witches – Cal Curtis 11

Key Stat:  Tamarac ran out to a 22-10 lead after the first period.  

Take Away:  The Bengals won every quarter and used a balanced attack, with four players in doubles, to notch the road win over Greenwich.

Mechanicville 87   Waterford 24

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Cruz Goverski 19      Logan Starks 13, 3 3’s       Jack Salvadore 12 4,3’s     Fordians – Logan Kelly 11

Key Stat:  Mechanicville held Waterford to single scoring numbers in three of the four quarters.  

Take Away:  Mechanicville took control with a 23-6 first frame and never looked back in posting the one-sided decision over the Fordians Friday night in Mechanicville.  The home squad drilled 11 triples in the victory with five Mechanicville players ringing the bell from downtown.  With the win Mechanicville moves to 6-2, 8-3 on the season. 

Hoosick Falls 58   Berlin/New Lebanon 27

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Ryan Sparks 18     Carson Glover 13         B/NL – Trevor Holtzman 9

Key Stat:  The Falls limited Berlin/New Lebanon to single scoring numbers in every period.

Take Away:  The Falls led 42-13 by the break and coasted from there to the home “W”.  Hoosick Falls is now 7-1 in Wasaren play and 11-1 overall.

Stillwater 57   Cambridge 56

Leading Scorers:  Stillwater – Rocco Schneller 20      Mason Wagner 14 4 3’s     John Williams 11      Cambridge – Maher 14     Yurschak 13

Key Stat:  Stillwater outscored their hosts 16-10 in the final frame.

Take Away:  In a back-and-forth game that saw Stillwater lead by one at the break, but trail 46-40 heading to the final eight minutes, the visitors used a solid fourth period to capture the road win.  

Greenwich 66   Tamarac 39

Key Stat:  Witches jumped out to a 15-0 advantage after the first period of play.

Take Away:  The Witches led wire to wire, put three players in doubles and rolled to the home “W” moving to 12-0 on the season. 

Mechanicville 55   Waterford 24

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Molly Di Siena 21      No Stats Reported for Waterford

Key Stat:  Mechanicville won every quarter.

Take Away:  Mechanicville built a 26-12 lead by halftime and cruised from there to the home victory, improving to 5-2, 9-2 on the year.  

Spa Catholic 55   Fort Ann 22

Leading Scorers:  Saints – Sophia Ryan 21, 10 steals         Addison Whitbeck 17           Cardinals – Savannah Avatore 12

Take Away:  Ryan and Whitbeck combine for 38 points, leading the Saints past Fort Ann on Wednesday night in Saratoga.  

Saratoga Catholic 78   Waterford 42

Leading Scorers:  Saints – Ryan Gillis 12      Tyler Hicks 11            Fordians – Logan Kelly 15

Key Stat:  Spa Catholic led 21-6 at the end of the first frame.

Take Away:  The Saints met little resistance in notching the road win in Waterford.  They put 65 points on the board over the first three periods with Hicks and Gillis reaching doubles, while every Saints player scored on the night.  With the win Spa Catholic moves to 7-0, 12-1 on the season. 

Hoosick Falls 49   Hoosic Valley 39

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Ryan Sparks 16, 10 rebounds       Carson Glover 14             Valley – Owen Harder 13 3, 3’s

Key Stat:  The Panthers connected on 13 of 21 free throws while the Valley converted 4 of 11 from the stripe.

Take Away:  The Falls built a 26-16 lead by the break and weathered a fourth quarter run by the Valley who pulled within two midway through the fourth.  Hoosick Falls answered with an Aiden Fleming triple pushing the Panther lead back to five and the home squad closed things out from there. 

Hoosick Falls improves to 6-1, 10-1 on the year while Hoosic Valley goes to 5-2, 10-2 with the loss.

Mechanicville 62   Stillwater 54

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Cruz Goverski 22 4, 3’s      Chris Couser 18, 12 rebounds      Logan Starks 11 3, 3’s           Stillwater – Rocco Schneller 11

Key Stat:  Mechanicville held a 7-3 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  Mechanicville won each of the first three quarters and led wire to wire in posting the home “W” over their neighboring rival.  Mechanicville goes to 5-2, 7-3 on the year with the win, while Stillwater slips to 2-5, 4-8 with the loss.  

Tamarac 53   Cambridge 26

Key Stat:  Tamarac held Cambridge to single scoring numbers in three of the four periods.

Take Away:  Leading 29-17 at the break, Tamarac put the game away with a 18-3 third frame, cruising from there to the comfortable road win.

Key Stat:  The Witches held B/NL to 18 points through the first three quarters.  

Take Away: Greenwich won every period in earning the one-sided road decision over Berlin/New Lebanon.  

Stillwater 67   Mechanicville 30

Key Stat:   Stillwater held a 7-1 advantage in made threes.  

Take Away:  Stillwater won every quarter, consistently turning over Mechanicville and scoring in transition. Leading 27-12 at the break Stillwater put the game away with a 25-9 third frame.  The host squad saw four players hit double figures including Miranda Price who scored a transition bucket with 0:11 remaining in the contest to reach the 1000 career point mark. 

With the victory Stillwater moves to 6-1, 9-1 on the year.

Take Away:  The Bengals built a 26-16 lead by halftime, extended their cushion to 45-30 after three frames and closed things out for the road win in Cambridge.
