Key Stat:  The Witches held Lake George to single scoring numbers or less in every quarter, pitching a shutout in the third frame.  

Take Away:  #1 Greenwich built a 45-8 lead by the break and rolled to the Class C quarterfinal win Friday night in Greenwich.  The Witches advance to the semifinals on Tuesday at HVCC facing #5 Maple Hill in a 7:30 tip.

Key Stat:  Stillwater took control with a 23-7 first period.

Take Away:  #2 Stillwater put three players in doubles and led wire to wire in posting a dominant Class quarterfinal “W” Friday night in Stillwater and move to the semifinal round and a matchup with #3 Berne-Knox at HVCC Tuesday night at 6:00.

Key Stat:  The Saints held an 11-0 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  After a 4-4 first period #3 Spa Catholic built an 18-10 led by the break and took control in the third taking a 24-point cushion into the final eight minutes where they closed things out for the Class C quarterfinal win.  The Saints advance to the semifinal round where they’ll face #2 Duanesburg on Monday at the Cool Insuring Arena in a 5:00 run.
