Take Away: Stillwater built a 23-14 lead by the break and led 36-32 entering the final eight minutes where they closed out the “W” in the Class C regional final on Saturday at HVCC.
Stillwater put three players in doubles in the win, their 12th straight and connected on six triples, while going 11 of 16 from the free throw line. A strong defensive first half gave Stillwater cushion to weather a third period surge by Lisbon. Over the 12-game winning streak Stillwater has allowed opponents just 32 points per game.
With the win Stillwater moves to 22-2 on the year and advances to the state semifinal round on Thursday at HVCC in a matchup with Section III’s Cooperstown.

Take Away: Marcellus took a 26-14 lead after the first eight minutes and continued to build on their advantage taking a 41-25 cushion into the break on their way to the Class B regional final victory.
The top ranked team in the state put four players in doubles in the win.
Mechanicville put three players in doubles figures led by Goverski’s 30-point effort to lead all scorers.
Mechanicville wraps up an outstanding season at 20-6 including their first section II title since 2012.
