Stillwater Girls, Spa Catholic Boys Earn Section II Titles, Bengals Fall to Chatham

Take Away:  #8 Stillwater took control with a six-run fifth highlighted by Resch’s three-run inside the park home run, and Stillwater closed things out to earn the Section II Class C title, their first since 1982.  Stillwater advances to a Class C sub regional on Wednesday at Luther Forest, facing the Section X champion.

Take Away:  Trailing 5-2 entering the final frame, Tamarac plated three to knot the score, but Chatham walked it off on Freidman’s run-scoring single in the bottom half to claim the Section II Class B championship.   

Tamarac, Stillwater Advance to Section II Finals
