The game-winner came four minutes into overtime when the Witches Owen Ives slid the ball to a cutting Owen Shannon for the finish and sudden victory for Greenwich.
Greenwich keeper Jack Scieszka saved five shots in the shutout while Valley keepers Travis Bleakley and Keenan Tompkins combined for 13 saves in the match.
