Holding a 12-8 lead at the break, HF/Tam scored three second-half touchdowns to pull away from the Cannoneers for the road “W” Thursday night in Watervliet.
HF/T scored the first 12 points of the game on a 29-yard interception return for six, and an Owen Hart two-yard touchdown run before Watervliet got on the board just before halftime on a Kianthony Santiago four-yard TD tote and with the two-point conversion the home squad trailed 12-8.
But after intermission the visitors hung three unanswered touchdowns starting with third period scores by Hart on a 3-yard run and August Lee on a 15-yard romp for six.
Hart wrapped the scoring in the fourth frame, finding Eddie Miller on a 27-yard touchdown strike as HF/Tam closed things out to even their season mark at 2-2.
HF/Tam gained 180 yards on the ground led by Lee with 122 yards on 23 carries with Hart adding 35 yards on 10 totes.

The Panthers used a pair of Luke Nicholas goals and single tallies from Aiden Eckert and Max Salvesvold, to slip past Tamarac on Thursday.
Joel Kizza, Sam Kuiken and Camden Willetts all connected one time to lead the Bengals’ attack.
