The Fordians built a 3-0 halftime advantage and rode that cushion to the win in the championship game of the Waterford Columbus Day Tournament on Monday.

Blake Guertin led the Fordian attack with a hat trick with Logan Sheehan adding a single tally in the victory.

Waterford keeper Tristan Philo saved nine shots and combined with the Fordian defense for the shutout.

Chatham goaltender Mason Hutchinson stopped 13 shots in defeat.

Bolton/Warrensburg 5   Cambridge 1

Leding 2-1 at the break B/W took control with three second-half goals to post the nonleague win over Cambridge.

Mailie Kelley connected three times and Olivia Bennett twice to pace the B/W offense.  

Natalie Wood and Vanessa Robinson with single scoring strikes led Cambridge.  

B/W keeper Ella Hens saved nine shots in the victory, while Cambridge goaltender Lexie Pedersen turned back 14 shots in the loss.
