Greenwich finishes an outstanding campaign at 26-2 with section and regional titles along with a state final appearance.

Key Stat: Greenwich outscored Tuckahoe 28-16 over the middle two frames.

Take Away: Greenwich built a 43-31 advantage entering the fourth quarter where they withstood a furious Tuckahoe rally late in the period and came away with the Class C semifinal “W”.

Yonkers 67 Mechanicville 38

Leading Scorers: Yonkers – Doherty 17 Toro 17 Mechanicville – Elle Richardson 8

Key Stat: Yonkers held Mechanicville to single scoring numbers in three of the four quarters.

Take Away: Yonkers started the game with a 20-5 run and held a double-digit lead the rest of the way in earning the Class B state semifinal win on Saturday. Mechanicville ends an excellent year at 21-4 with section, and regional titles along with a Class B Final Four appearance.
