Key Stat:  Mechanicville ran out to a 17-6 lead after one period.

Take Away:  Mechanicville built a 28-13 halftime lead and rode that cushion to the road win over LaSalle.

Stillwater 51   Watervliet 27

Key Stat:  Stillwater held their guests to single scoring numbers in every quarter. 

Take Away:  Stillwater earns the nonleague “W” behind a dominant defensive effort and move to 6-3,12-4 on the year.

Key Stat:  The Jesters outscored Waterford 18-1 in the third frame.

Take Away:  Emma Willard rides a monster night by Shields to the victory on the road.

Key Stat:  A 21-5 first period by the Panthers set the tone.

Take Away:  The Falls holds Salem to under 30 points and picks up the road “W” to even their season mark at 7-7.

Key Stat:  Hoosic Valley held a 7-4 advantage in made threes.  

Take Away:  The Valley built a 43-31 lead heading into the final frame and closed things out for the road win, improving to 10-5 on the year.  

Hoosick Falls 80   Mt. Anthony 71

Key Stat:  The Panthers converted 8 of 9 free throws in the final frame.

Take Away:  In a high scoring affair between intrastate rivals, Hoosick Falls put three players in doubles, hit ten times from behind the arc, and used clutch free throw shooting down the stretch to get past the Patriots of Mount Anthony.

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Colin Richardson 22, 3 3’s   Joe Devito 14    Cruz Goverski 13       LG – Darnell Johnson 14

Key Stat:  A 23-10 second period gave Mechanicville complete control.

Take Away:  Mechanicville built a 49-17 lead by the break and cruised to the nonleague win over Lake George, in moving to 12-2, 8-2 on the year.

Lansingburgh 62   Stillwater 53

Leading Scorers:  Burgh – Marcous Green 35         Stillwater – Jaxon Mueller 18   Kaelan Leak 15

Key Stat:  Lansingburgh outscored their hosts 21-12 over the final eight minutes.

Take Away:  The Burgh rides a big night from Green and a 21-point fourth to the road win over Stillwater. 

Greenwich 83   Emma Willard 44

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Brooke Kuzmich 28, 5 3’s   Adrianna Rojas 18, 11 rebounds   Grace Autiello 15, 5 3’s   17, 15 rebounds        Emma Willard – Audrey Shields 19, 3 3’s   C. Hunter 13

Key Stat:  A 33-16 third quarter for Greenwich decided things in this one.

Take Away:  The Witches led 38-26 at halftime and put the game away with 33, third quarter points.  Greenwich put four players in doubles and bottomed 10 triples in moving to 14-0, 7-0 on the season.

Key Stat: Stillwater outscored the Falls 15-7 in the final frame.

Take Away: In a close game throughout Stillwater earned the road win with a decisive fourth quarter and moves to 11-4 on the season.

Key Stat:  The Panthers held a 14-5 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  In control at the break leading 32-19, the Falls turned out the lights with a 29-14 third frame, securing the road “W”.

Key Stat:  Stillwater held a 7-1 edge in made triples.

Take Away:  Stillwater built a 42-25 lead by the break and closed things out to remain undefeated at 13-0.

Key Stat:  The Valley opened with a 26-10 first quarter and backed it up with an 18-5 second stanza. 

Take Away:  Hoosic Valley put three players in doubles with the entire roster scoring points in the one-sided “W”, moving to 9-5 on the season.

Key Stat:  A 31-9 first frame for Stillwater set the tone.

Take Away: Stillwater bottom’s 12 triples and led by Price and Thornton cruise to the one-sided decision.

Take Away:  Emma Willard used a 12-2 second period to take the lead and held off the Panthers for the road win.

Take Away:  Everyone who dressed for Mechanicville scored points as they go to 11-2, 8-2 with the easy victory over Greenwich.

Key Stat:  Tamarac outscored Cambridge 22-12 in the final period.

Take Away:  The Bengals ride Kamerin Edmonds first career double-double and a big fourth frame to the win over Cambridge.

Mechanicville 63   Voorheesville 62

Leading Scorers:  Mechanicville – Colin Richardson 22   Cruz Goverski 16         Blackbirds – Tom Burns 17    Tom Novotny 16   Brady Eitleman 15

Key Stat:  A Cruz Goverski steal with :10 remaining set up the game-winning deuce.

Take Away: Trailing 62-57 with under 1:00 left Mechanicville, used a pair of Colin Richardson scores, sandwiched around a steal to cut the deficit to 62-61 with :15 remaining. After a pair of missed free throws by the Blackbirds and a held ball, Mechanicville’s Cruz Goverski stole the inbounds pass and saved it to Logan Starks who laid it in for the game-winner on Senior Night in Mechanicville. 

Hadley Luzerne 46   Waterford 37

Leading Scorers:  HL – Gabby Graham 18   Madison Lent 12   Leena Haskell 11         Fordians – Rachel McOmber 12   Maddy Atwood 11

Key Stat:  Hadley Luzerne won each of the final three quarters.

Take Away:  Waterford led 11-10 after the first eight minutes but Luzerne edged in front in the second period and held on for the road win.

Saratoga Catholic 50   Lake George 31

Key Stat:  Spa Catholic held the visitors to 11 second half points.

Take Away:  The Saints won every quarter and sealed the win with a 14-2 fourth frame.

Key Stat:  Stillwater won every quarter.

Take Away:  Stillwater built a 25-16 lead by halftime and rode that cushion and a big scoring night from Price to the home “W”.  With the win Stillwater moves to 9-4 on the year.

Take Away:  Mechanicville puts four players in doubles and cruises to their 12th straight win.  

Greenwich 69   Moriah 29

Leading Scorers: Witches – Brooke Kuzmich 25, 4 3’s 6 steals     Adrianna Rojas 22, 6 steals      Moriah – Hannah Gaddor 19, 3 3’s 

Key Stat:  The Witches held Moriah to 13 points thru the first three periods.  

Take Away:  Greenwich stifled Moriah defensively finishing with 23 steals in the run and hung 20 or more points on the board in each of the first three frames, in notching the one-sided decision and staying perfect at 12-0 on the season.
