Luke MacDougal fired a two-over par, 36 to lead C/S past Hoosic Valley on Monday in a Wasaren golf match at the Hoosick Falls Country Club.
Mason MacDougal carded a round of 40 in winning his individual match and Blaise Barrett and Brigid Toleman picked up points as well for Cambridge-Salem who with the victory improve to 2-0 on the season.
Hoosic Valley’s Liam Sherman in his first varsity match earned the Valley point with a win in flight three.
Luke MacDougall carded the low round of the day, firing a two-over 36, leading Cambridge to the comfortable win over Waterford in Wasaren play on Friday.
Mason MacDougall, Kiernan Haskell and Blaise Barrett all earned match wins for Cambridge while in flight four Josh Pratt and Waterford’s Jonny Atwood split the point.
Both teams return to action on Monday with Cambridge hosting Hoosic Valley and Waterford entertaining Greenwich at Fairways of Halfmoon Golf Course.
Hoosick Falls junior Aiden Fleming fired an even par 34 to earn medalist honors, but the depth of the Mechanicville squad secured the narrow “W” in action at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Thursday.
Top scorers for the Red Raiders included Logan Starks 35, Nate Salvadore 39, Matt Salvadore 39, Jack Salvadore 42, Ben Amato 44 and Connor Dion 47, with Starks, Dion, Amato and Matt Salvadore posting match wins.
Hoosick Falls cards showed Dylan Callahan 41, Brady Mann 42, Jack Shea 42, Michael Plusch 49, and Devin Gauthier 50.
Next up for Mechanicville is a Monday match with the Warriors of Stillwater at Saratoga Lake Golf Club, while Hoosick Falls will tee it up with Cambridge at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Tuesday.
