On a night where defense was king the Indians from Schaghticoke nearly threw a first half shutout, and did enough offensively to post the 37-17 victory over Cambridge Wednesday night in Cambridge.

The Valley started the game with a flurry, scoring eight points in the first two minutes on a Matt Rowe putback and corner threes from Isaac Carlo and Derek Eddy.  But Cambridge switched from their 2-3 zone and went man to man defensively and the game turned into a contest where points were hard to come by.
