Key Stat:  Stillwater outscored their guests 25-5 in the second frame.

Take Away:  Stillwater built a 42-16 advantage by halftime and rode that cushion to the “W”, continuing their heater with wins in 9 of their last 10 while extending their winning streak to seven.

Cambridge 60   Tamarac 40

Leading Scorers:  Cambridge – Ashley Moses 16   Caire Toleman 15, 3 3’s   Nicole LaFountain 12   Sam Crandall 11                 Bengals – Myanna Faraj 16

Key Stat:  Cambridge held a 6-0 edge in made threes.

Take Away:  Cambridge put four players in doubles and took control with a 24-10 third quarter in posting the home victory over the Bengals.

Spa Catholic 55   Waterford 39

Leading Scorers:  Saints – Sophia Ryan 29, 4 3’s        Fordians – Rachel McOmber 14, 3 3’s   Maddy Atwood 14

Key Stat:  The Saints held Waterford to 19 second-half points. 

Take Away:  Nursing a 21-20 lead at the break, Saratoga Catholic slowly pulled away over the final two periods in notching the home “W”.

Stillwater 80   Hoosick Falls 60

Leading Scorers:  Stillwater – Kealan Leak 25, 7 3’s   Lukas Lilac 18   Jaxon Mueller 15   Carter Wicheins 10  Panthers – Andrew Sparks 17, 3 3’s

Key Stat:  Stillwater ran out to a 26-8 lead at the end of the first. 

Take Away:  Stillwater hung 53 first half points on the board and cruised from there to the road win over the Falls.

Key Stat:  Berne-Knox held their guests to single scoring numbers in every period.

Take Away:  BK won each quarter, putting four players in doubles in crusing to the nonleague win over Waterford.  

Mechanicville 82   Tamarac 52

Key Stat:  Mechanicville jumped out to a 24-6 lead at the end of the first.

Take Away:  Mechanicville started fast and cruised to the road win over the Bengals, moving to 13-5, 9-5 on the year, 

Hoosick Falls 43   Hoosic Valley 41

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Mat Kempf 11, 3 3’s          Valley – Chris Jones 16   Isaac Wiley 10

Key Stat:  The Falls held the Hawks to three, first quarter points.  

Take Away:  The Falls led 29-19 at the break before the Valley trimmed the deficit to 35-33 heading into the final eight minutes where the home squad held off the visitors from Schaghticoke on Senior Night for their eighth straight win. 

Spa Catholic 66   Greenwich 54

Leading Scorers:  Saints – Tyler Hicks 22, 4 3’s   Hunter Failes 12   Ronan Rowe 11, 3 3’s        Witches – Ryan Ingber 20   Joe Radovich 10

Key Stat:  The Saints held a 10-4 edge in made threes.

Take Away:  Spa Catholic used a decisive fourth frame, outscoring their guests 16-7 to earn the home “W” and improve to 11-7 on the season.  

Emma Willard 64   Mechanicville 55

Leading Scorers:  Jesters – Audrey Shields 35   Margarette Howland 13        Mechanicville – Lila Christensen 22   Molly DiSiena 14

Key Stat:  Emma Willard used a big third period to build a double-digit lead.

Take Away:  Tied 32-32 at the break the visitors parlayed a solid third frame into the road win over Mechanicville on a night where Shields, on a transition bucket early in the first period, joined the 1000 career points club.

Greenwich 72   Spa Catholic 30

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Brooke Kuzmich 22, 3 3’s   Adrianna Rojas 17, 3 3’s, 14 rebounds   Grace Autiello 12          Saints – Sophia Ryan 6

Key Stat:  Greenwich held the Saints to single scoring numbers in each of the first three quarters.

Take Away:  The Witches led 19-5 after the first eight minutes and cruised from there, moving to 17-0 on the season with the home “W”.

Hoosick Falls 57   Waterford 39

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Ava Case 26   Mackenna Roberson 15         Fordians – Maddy Atwood 17

Key Stat:  The Falls outscored Waterford 19-4 in the third period.

Take Away:  Leading 24-22 at the break the Falls used a dominant third frame to take control and closed out the road win over the Fordians.

Cambridge 54   Hartford 36

Leading Scorers:  Cambridge – Sam Crandall 20, 3 3’s        Tanagers – Alawanh Dunda 9   Cailin Severence 9, 3 3’s

Key Stat:  Cambridge held the visitors to 12 first half points.

Take Away:  Cambridge doubled up the Tanagers 24-12 by halftime and rode that cushion to the win on Senior Night, led by the only senior on the Cambridge squad, Crandall, who added five steals and five rebounds to go with a 20-point night.   

Tamarac 63   Chatham 50

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Kobe Edmonds 29, 4 3’s   Adam Rice 25             Chatham – Tate VanAlstyne 19, 3 3’s   Jacob Taylor 12

Key Stat:  Tamarac sealed the win with a 20-12 fourth quarter.

Take Away:  Holding a slim lead entering the final frame, Tamarac used a 20-point fourth along with big scoring nights from Edmonds and Rice to notch the nonleague “W” at home.

Key Stat:  An 18-10 first period gave the Saints a working margin.  

Take Away:  Spa Catholic built a 27-16 lead by halftime and rode that cushion to the road win over the Fordians.

Key Stat:  The Panthers held a 9-3 edge in made threes.

Take Away:  Trailing 42-41 entering the final frame, the Falls uses a 20-13 fourth to earn the home “W”.

Key Stat: Greenwich held an 8-3 advantage in made triples. 

Take Away:  Trailing 31-20 at the break, Tamarac took the lead with a 23-9 third period and held off the Bengals for the home win.

Key Stat:  A 25-11 first quarter for Stillwater set the tone in this one. 

Take Away:  Stillwater built 30-point halftime lead and cruised to the home victory in a game that saw every Stillwater player score points.

Key Stat:  Emma Willard outscored their guests 28-22 after the break.

Take Away:  Nursing a 24-21 advantage at halftime, the Jesters took control with a 21-10 third frame and closed out the win behind a monster night by Shields.

Take Away:  The Witches built a 44-20 lead by the break, put four players in doubles and continued their unbeaten season with the road win in Cambridge.

Mechanicville 49   Voorheesville 27

Key Stat:  Mechanicville won every quarter.

Take Away:  Mechanicville led 24-14 at the half and steadily pulled away for the road “W” over the Blackbirds.

Key Stat:  Emma Willard converted 11 of 14 from the free throw line while Waterford connected on 4 of 9.  

Take Away:  The Jesters ride a huge night from Shields to the home victory over Waterford.

Key Stat:  Tamarac held a 23-9 advantage in two-points goals.  

Take Away: The Bengals won each of the first three periods building a 47-38 lead heading onto the final frame, where they held off the Fordians to earn the win on Big Red Day in Tamarac.  With the victory the Bengals improve to 6-6 in league play.

Key Stat:  The Falls connected on 10 of 21 free throws while Tamarac converted 2 of 5 attempts from the stripe.

Take Away:  Hoosick Falls parlayed a 31-16 halftime cushion into the road “W” in Clum’s Corners.
