Payton Galuski connected on four goals and the Fordians pitched the shutout, as Waterford earned the road “W” over the Mountaineers on Tuesday.

Two Galuski scores came on feeds from Bayly Beauregard, while two were unassisted tallies.

Imani Bloomfield finished with a goal and an assist, with Cassidy McClement and Mia O’Brien adding single scoring strikes for the Fordians.

Waterford keeper Maddy Atwood needed just three saves in posting the clean sheet, while Mountaineer goaltender Rebecca Madsen, under fire throughout, stopped 21 shots in the match. 

Stillwater 4   Tamarac 1

Protecting a slim 2-1 lead at the break, Stillwater pulled away with a pair of second half strikes in notching the road win over the Bengals of Tamarac.

Stillwater built a 2-0 cushion on goals from Brooke Hodgson and Bridgett Coon, before Kendall Bullson found the range for Tamarac sending the teams into the break with the visitors holding a 2-1 advantage.

In the 64th minute Hodgson finished an Elliot Patenaude find, giving Stillwater some breathing at 3-1.

One minute later it was Patenaude connecting on an unassisted tally and from there Stillwater closed out the victory.

Stillwater keeper Charisma Salecker saved one shot in the match, while Tamarac keeper Ragan Retell saved nine.  

Mechanicville 6   Scotia-Glenville   (Monday)

Mechanicville took control with five second-half scores in earning the non-league win in Mechanicville on Monday.

Marissa Krosky rang the bell four times for Mechanicville while Maddy Hopeck connected once for the home squad.

Mechanicville keeper Ava Grimmick needed just one save in posting the shutout, her counterpart Julie Cooper saved 16 shots for Tamarac.

Mechanicville 5   Spa Catholic 0

Nate Salvadore’s round of 35 led the way in the Mechanicville sweep of the Saints in action at the Mechanicville Golf Club on Tuesday.

Joining Salvadore with match wins were teammates Matthew Salvadore, Logan Starks, Connor Dion, Jacob Pickett and Ben Amado.

With the “W” Mechanicville remains unbeaten on the season with a record of 15-0.  

Hoosick Falls 4.5   Hoosic Valley .5

Aiden Fleming fired a 2-under par round of 34, in the Falls win over the Valley at the Battenkill Country Club on Monday.

Top scorers for Hoosick Falls included Jack Shea 47, Dylan Callahan and Devin Gauthier with 48’s and Zach Houghton with a round of 51.

Scores for Hoosic Valley showed Matt Wager’s 41, Keegan Antolick and Chris Tracy with 53’s, and Ryan Morrissey who carded a 54 in the match.

Eight Fordians connected on scoring strikes in Waterford’s one-sided decision over B/NL on Monday night.

Josh Catanzarita led the scoring parade with a hat trick, while Tristan Carutasu, Nate Griner, Logan Fletcher, Anthony Scunziano, Matt Soden, Chris Brown, and Christain Penk all added single tallies.  

Fordian keeper Logan Kelley saved five shots and combined with the Waterford “D” for the clean sheet.

Mountaineer keeper Tyler Shuhart, under siege throughout, saved 24 shots in the loss.  

Cambridge 6   Spa Catholic 1

Cambridge controlled the action from start to finish and posted the comfortable road win over the Saints on Monday.

Ethan Hickland opened the scoring, finding the range in the game’s 7th minute, and six minutes later Cambridge’s Luke Leblanc split the posts giving the visitors a quick 2-0 advantage. 

Hickland finished the match with two more tallies and a hat trick, while Leblanc doubled down for a two-goal outing.  

Carson Sartoris rounded out the scoring for Cambridge when he found the net with five minutes remaining in the game.

SCC’s Will Boisclair scored on a direct kick from 30 yards out to prevent the shutout.

Waterford 3   Cambridge 2

Cambridge’s Luke MacDougal claimed medalist honors with a one-under 36, but Waterford prevailed and notched the narrow “W” in action at Fairways of Halfmoon on Monday.

Top scorers for Waterford included Werkie Hayes and Billy Scunziano who carded rounds of 50, Derrick Pontore and Dylan Day with a pair of 52’s and Jonny Atwood who finished with a 54.

Cambridge scores included Mason MacDougal’s round of 40, Brigid Toleman’s 68 and Josh Pratt’s 69.

With the win Waterford improves to 3-9 on the year, while Cambridge slips to 4-8 with the loss.

Mechanicville 5   Tamarac 0

In action at Frear Park on Monday Matthew Salvadore carded the low round of 37 leading Mechanicville to the shutout over Tamarac.

Jack Salvadore, Nate Salvadore, Connor Dion, Jacob Pickett and Ben Amado all posted match wins as Mechanicville with the victory moves to 14-0 on the season.

It was homecoming weekend in Waterford and once the game started, with Madrid-Waddington out of the Potsdam area, the Fordians made themselves quite comfortable scoring early and often with eight different players connecting for goals in the 12-0 victory.

Matt Soden with a hat trick and Nate Bauer and Jack Malinowski with two goals each led the Fordians attack.  Tristan Carutasu, Josh Catanzarita, Derrick Pontore Mason Noto and Jake Catanzarita all added single tallies for Waterford.

Fordian keeper Logan Kelly saved three shots in the win, while Madrid -Waddington keeper Grant Hayes, under assault all night, stopped 30 shots in the loss.

Stillwater 40   Cambridge/Salem 0

Stillwater put points on the board in every quarter while holding C/S scoreless in posting the one-sided decision in Stillwater on Friday night.

Lukas Lilac and Jaxon Mueller both rushed for over 100 yards with Mueller finding the end zone three times and Lilac twice. 

Thomas McDonough added a 39-yard scoring run, for Stillwater while James Cocozzo had a monster game defensively with eight tackles, three fumble recoveries and an interception. 

Stillwater led 7-0 at the quarter break and took total control over the middle two frames with a pair of touchdowns in each period on the way to their fourth win in as many outings.

Tamarac/Hoosick Falls 40   Tamarac 12

The Wildcats rushed for 290 yards and outgained the host squad nearly 2-1 in total yards in notching the comfortable victory over the Sir Bills.

The Wildcats Richie Stifter scored three times including an 85-yard kick-off return and rushing and receiving touchdowns to lead the offense.

Andrew Sparks scored on runs of 22 and 49 yards and finished with 147 rushing yards while Wildcat quarterback Sam Fauler threw for 127 yards and a touchdown.

With the road “W” Hoosick Falls/Tamarac goes to 4-0 on the season.

Mia O’Brien led the way for the Fordians with a hat trick and she had plenty of help in Waterford’s easy home “W” over the Panthers.

Addyson Galuski with a pair of goals and Payton Galuski, Imani Bloomfield and Cassidy McClement with single strikes rounded out the Waterford attack.

Fordian keeper Maddy Atwood needed just two saves in posting the shutout.

Cambridge 2   Tamarac 1

After a scoreless first half of play, Cambridge’s Sam Crandall and Mia Alpy found the back of the net with second half tallies and Cambridge held on for the narrow home victory over the Bengals.

Katie Groos connected after the break for Tamarac.

Cambridge keeper Lexie Pedersen saved eight shots in the match while Bengals keeper Ragan Ratell turned back seven. 

Hoosic Valley 4   Emma Willard 3

Hannah Coffin rang the bell four times for Hoosic Valley with three long range connections in leading the Valley past Emma Willard on Friday.

Hawks keeper Sophie Svec saved six shots in the win.

Stillwater 6   Berlin/New Lebanon 0

Stillwater scored three times in each half in cruising to the home win over the Mountaineers.

Elliot Patenaude connected for goals in both halves, while Lucy Rubinstein tallied twice before the break and Brooke Hogdson added two more after halftime to round out the Stillwater attack.

Mirand Price and Charisma Salecker along with the Stillwater “D” combined for the clean sheet.

Spa Catholic 6   Granville 1

The Saints score four times after intermission, pulling away for the non-league win over Granville.

Bobby Cousineau led the Saints with a hat trick, with Aiden Crowther, Zach Streicher and Will Boisclair adding single goals.

Mechanicville 3   Hoosick Falls 2

In a match played at the Mechanicville Golf Club Hoosick Falls picked up points in flights one and two, but the home squad swept flights 3-5 to claim the narrow win over the Panthers.

Aiden Fleming and Dylan Callahan won their matches for the Falls with Fleming’s round of 37 the low score on the day.

Jack Salvadore, Logan Starks and Connor Dion earned the Mechanicville points in the showdown between the Wasaren’s top two squads.  

With the win Mechanicville moves to 13-0 on the year and Hoosick Falls with the loss goes to 7-3.

Greenwich 5   Tamarac 0

Greenwich swept past Tamarac in action at the Battenkill with the Witches Erik Wade carding the low round of 38 to lead the way.

Sam Ziehm, Omar DeJesus, Brayden Stutzman and Colby McCauliffe all won individual matches for Greenwich who with the win improve to 7-4 on the season.

Tamarac slips to 4-6 on the season with the loss.  

Spa Catholic 3   Waterford 2

Jacob Hajos showed the way with a round of 40 in the Saints win at Fairways at Halfmoon on Friday.

Other scores for Spa Catholic included Mark Mahay 46, Jason Pescetti 57, and Cole Cefalu with a round of 59.

Waterford scorers were Derrick Pontore 46, Evan Cavosie 48, Billy Scunzianio 50, and Dylan Day’s round of 54.   

With the win the Saints even their season mark at 4-4 while Waterford slips to 2-9 on the campaign.  

Mechanicville 4   Greenwich 0

Ethan Raucci found the back of the net four times, connecting for a pair of tallies in each half in Mechanicville’s road win over Greenwich.  

Mechanicville keeper Joey Devito saved four shots and combined with the Mechanicville defense for the clean sheet.

Greenwich goaltender Aaron Stutzman saved 15 in the loss. 

Berlin/New Lebanon 4    Cambridge 1

Lizzy Hunt with a pair of goals and Jessic Bosso and Haylee Jones with single scoring strikes led the Mountaineers to the home “W” over Cambridge.

Mia Alpy scored the lone goal for Cambridge. 

Becca Madsen saved 11 shots for B/NL while Cambridge keeper Lexie Pedersen stopped eight shots in the match. 

Stillwater 3   Spa Catholic 2

Carter Wincheins carded the low round of 40 to lead Stillwater past the Saratoga Catholic in golf action on Thursday.  

Jacob Halos shot a round of 41 to lead the Saints.  

Stillwater moves to 6-3 on the season with the win while the Saints slip to 3-4 with the loss.

Six different Fordians connected for goals in the shutout win over the Valley in Schaghticoke. 

Payton Galuski and Cassidy McClement with two goals each led the attack while Imani Bloomfield, Alondra Collet-Cruz, Addyson Galuski and Alexandra Phelps added single scoring strikes for Waterford.

Hoosic Valley keeper Sophia Svec saved 15 shots in the loss and Fordian keeper Maddie Atwood was not tested, going save free in the shutout.

Stillwater 5   Hoosick Falls 0      (Wednesday)

Stillwater gained control with three first half scores and cruised from there to the shutout victory over the Panthers on Wednesday.

Karissa Mitchell with two goals and Brooke Hodgson, Ashley Coffey and Bridget Coon with single tallies led the Stillwater offense.

Stillwater keepers Miranda Price with six saves and Charisma Salecker with three saves combined for the shutout.

Hoosick Falls keeper Jenna Backes saved nine shots in the loss.

Doane Stuart 4   Spa Catholic 3      (Wednesday)

Izel Korostil and Addy Enres both tallies twice, leading Doane Stuart to the narrow victory over the Saints of Saratoga Catholic. 

Sydney Caracci with a pair of scores and Addyson Quail with a single goal led the Saints attack.

Greenwich 5   Hoosic Valley 0         (Wednesday)

In action at the Battenkill Country Club on Wednesday, the Witches Erik Wade fired the low round of 37 leading Greenwich to the win over Hoosic Valley.

Joining Wade with match wins were teammates Sam Ziehm, Omar DeJesus, Brayden Stutzman, and Colby McCauliffe. 

With the victory Greenwich improves to 6-4 on the year while Hoosick Valley slips to 3-7 with the loss.

The Fordians used three second half goals to gain control, on their way to the road win over the Valley on Tuesday.

Waterford opened the scoring in the 37th minute when Tristan Karutasu took a feed from Josh Catanzarita for the finish and a 1-0 lead and the Fordians carried that advantage into the halftime break.

In the 48th minute it was Karatasu connecting again extending the Waterford cushion to 2-0.  

One minute later Karatasu rang the bell for the third time, completing the hat trick and putting the Fordians in control at 3-0.

The Valley got on the board in the 65th minute off a corner kick and an own goal by Waterford.

Catanzarita wrapped up the scoring late in the half, sending a rocket to the corner of the net and Waterford closed out the win in Schaghticoke.

Logan Kelley saved five shots in net for the Fordians while Valley keeper Dem Neary stopped 15 shots in the match for the Hawks.

Jacob Pickett earned medalist honors with a low round of 40 in Mechanicville’s sweep of Hoosic Valley in action at the Mechanicville Golf Club on Tuesday.

Stillwater found the range for six goals before the break and cruised to the win at home over the Valley on Monday. 

Bridget Coon with a hat trick and Elliot Pattenaude and Karissa Mitchell with two goals each led the Stillwater attack.  Brooke Hodgson rounded out the scoring with a single tally.

Stillwater keepers Miranda Price and Charisma Salecker combined for the shutout and needed just one save for the clean sheet.

Hoosic Valley keeper Sophie Svec saved 15 shots in the match.  

Berlin/New Lebanon 2   Cabridge 1

Logan Kelly found the back of the net for a pair of first half strikes leading the Mountaineers to the narrow “W” over Cambridge on Tuesday. 

Garrett Hackman scored the Cambridge goal off a Tully Maher feed before the break and the two squads went to intermission with the B/NL holding a 2-1 advantage, which proved to be the final score with both defensive units stepping up after the break.

Waterford spread the wealth on Monday night with four different Fordians finding the back of the net in their 4-1 “W” over Mechanicville.

Addy and Payton Galuski scored unassisted goals, while Rylan Charbonneau connected off an Imani Bloomfield feed and Cassisdy McClement finished a Payton Galuski find to lead the Waterford attack.

Marissa Krosky tallied for Mechanicville in the match.

Fordian keeper Maddy Atwood saved five shots on the night and Mechanicville’s keeper Ava Grimmick turned back seven.

Cambridge scored a goal in each half and their defense shut down the Panther attack in the home win on Monday.

Sam Crandall and Emily DeSouza split the posts for Cambridge and keeper Lexie Pedersen saved nine shots for the clean sheet, while Hoosick Falls keeper Jenna Backes also saved nine shots in the contest.

Mechanicville started fast, finding the range with a pair of goals in the first seven minutes, on their way to the home “W” Monday night.  

Rece Dyer, Logan Starks and Ethan Raucci all connected with scoring strikes for Mechanicville off a pair of Declan Charette feeds and a single assist from Alex Shakow.

Joey Devito saved eight shots for Mechanicville while Cohoes keeper Charlie Gendron stopped 11 shots in the loss.

Nate and Jack Salvadore shared medalist honors with rounds of 39 in the comfortable victory over Greenwich on Monday at the Mechanicville Golf Course.

Nate, Jack, Connor Dion, Ben Amato and Ryan Shultz all earned match wins, while Mechanicville’s Jacob Pickett and the Witches Braden Stutzman split the point in flight four.

With the win Mechanicville goes to 10-0 on the season.
