Waterford 3   Cambridge/Salem 1

In a 1-1 game at the break, the visitors from Waterford connected for a pair of second half goals to pull away and notch the road win in Cambridge.

The Fordians first strike came in the fourteenth minute on a Sam Caulkins header off a corner kick giving Waterford the 1-0 edge.

But midway through the half C/S responded when Rowan Ossont ripped a shot from 30 yards out that found the side netting, pulling the host squad even at 1-1.

After the break Waterford wasted little time taking the lead back just one minute in on a Payton Galuski tally off a Logan Sheehan find for the 2-1 advantage.

With 10 minutes remaining the Fordians final score came off Caulkins second header of the match this time off a Galuski corner and Waterford closed things out for the victory.

Fordian keeper Logan Kelly saved six shots in the match while C/S keeper Alex Olsen saved nine.

 

Mechanicville 10   Berlin/New Lebanon 0

Mechanicville scored seven times in the first half on their way to the easy win over B/NL.

Scotty Lynch scored a hat trick while Ethan Raucci and Declan Charette both tallied twice in the match and Cruz Goverski, Brady O’Connor and Charlie Weiss all added single scoring strikes in the contest.

Mechanicville keeper Mark Pingelski saved two shots and combined with the Mechanicville defense for the shutout.

 

Hoosick Falls 4.5   Hoosic Valley .5

Aidan Fleming led all golfers with a one-under par round of 33, leading the Panthers past the Valley in action at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Monday.

Hoosic Valley scores included Keegan Antolick 46, Ryan Morrissey 48, Tyler Lee 51, Chris Tracy 54, and Jackson Schram and Craig D’Avella with rounds of 57.

Hoosick Falls scores included Spencer Tate 36, Jack Shea 38, Devin Gauthier 39, Zach Houghton and Quinn Haynes with 44’s, Aidyn DeGraaf 45, Dylan Callahan 47, Brady Mann 48 and Memphis Hathaway with a round of 53.

With the win on Senior Day, Hoosick Falls improves to 12-2 on the season.
