Last night it was a coin flip as to which game I’d go to see, Stillwater/Hoosick Falls boys, or Tamarac/Hoosic Valley girls. It turns out either would have been the right call. Both games had big implications in the league title chase, and both contests were overtime decisions, with the Valley putting away the Bengals 55-46 in OT to stay just one game behind front running Hoosick Falls in the race for the Wasaren crown.
Here’s a look at all the girls results from a Friday night in the league.
Hoosic Valley 55 Tamarac 46 OT

Key Stat: Hoosic Valley held the Bengals to single digits in each of the first three quarters, and led 32-23 heading to the final frame. Tamarac used a 16-7 fourth to send the game into extra minutes, and ironically the Valley out scored their hosts by the same 16-7 margin in the overtime.

Cambridge 50 Greenwich 46

Hoosick Falls 57 Stillwater 27

Leading Scorers: Red Raiders – Julia Amodeo 16 Sammy Pasinella 16 Horde – Brooke Perry 8
