Tommy English and Colton Dean with two touchdowns each, led Cambridge to a 56-8 demolition of Millbrook Friday night in a Class D football state semifinal, sending the Indians back to the Dome where they’ll defend their 2016 title against Maple Grove in a rematch of last year’s state championship game where Cambridge prevailed in double overtime. A much anticipated matchup for the Class D crown turned into a one-sided affair as Cambridge jumped out early, and cruised past Greenwich 40-7 to earn the Section II championship for the 16th time since 1992.
