I like numbers. Always have, and I understand at times you can make them say whatever you’d like. But there’s also truth in numbers, and in the sports world analytics are taking over.
These numbers certainly aren’t to that extent, but provide a look at individuals, and teams in a few important categories. We can see that Mechanicville likes to shoot three’s, and that Greenwich has two of the top 10 scorers in the Wasaren, and as always the numbers show us that the Valley can guard. Continue reading

Cambridge 0-1 @ Hoosic Valley 2-2: Cambridge has only played one time this season, a 50-31 loss to Greenwich. Helen Mooney and Grace Snyder lead the Indians offense that will be tested tonight against the Valley man D.
Hoosic Valley will play it’s fifth game on the year and are led in scoring by Cami Hren and Alex Rifenburg who combine for 17 nightly. This is another night where the Valley defense will secure the “W”.
Hoosick Falls 2-0 @ Waterford 0-3: The Fordians have had trouble scoring the ball in the early going averaging just 20 points per game, with their leading scorer Hannah Camfield at 5.5. Continue reading
