Congratulations to Stillwater Warriors running back Dan Morris, this week’s Wasaren Sportsnet Player of the Week.
The junior back ran for 252 yards on 20 carries, and scored twice in the Warriors 49-14 win over Fonda on Friday night. On the year Dan has rushed for over 500 yards while scoring six touchdowns helping Stillwater start the season with a pair of decisive victories.

After a week one 34-0 defeat at the hands of Greenwich, Hoosick Falls made the short trip north yesterday to take on the Indians of Hoosic Valley in a Class C football matchup. The Valley had an easy tine of things in their lopsided win over Granville last weekend and most felt the Falls would suffer a similar fate on a hot, muggy Saturday in Schaghticoke. Continue reading
