Waterford 3  Tamarac 1:  In a match where all the scoring was done in the first half of play, the Fordians of Waterford claimed the “W”.

Tyler Helwig got things started for Waterford finding the range on a feed from Hunter Guertin at the 4:00 mark.

Just 10 minutes later the same combination put the Fordians up 2-0, again Helwig from Guertin.

At the 18:00 mark it was Hunter Guertin finding the back of the net, on a find from Joey Espey-Vanier giving the Fordians a 3-0 advantage.

Tamarac got on the board late in the half when Chase Ali hit a low rocket from the 18, to the far post making it 3-1 Waterford.  That cushion proved more than enough as Waterford  thwarted repeated Tamarac runs in the second half preserving the victory.

Greenwich 2   Spa Catholic 1:  G The Witches Liam Kelleher broke a 1-1 tie with his second half strike giving Greenwich the well earned win over the Saints of Saratoga Catholic.

Just six minutes in, Nick Condry found Dante Martin who finished giving the Saints the early 1-0 lead.

At the 28:00 mark it was Charlie Gartner from Johnny Swertzer to pull Greenwich even at 1-1.

Midway through the second half Kelleher put away the game winner on a loose ball in front giving Greenwich the road victory.

Stillwater 1  Cambridge 0:  In a low scoring, well played affair the Warriors Brody Cepiel scored with six minutes left in the first half, and the Stillwater defense made it stand as the hosts came away with the win.

Stillwater held off Cambridge who pressed hard in the final minutes of the contest.  Warriors keeper Robbie Varvaro made 4 saves for the shutout, Cody Oldham saved seven shots on the afternoon for the Indians.
