Mechanicville 12 Stillwater 0: It was all Red Raiders in the annual cup game with Mechanicville scoring four goals before the break and adding eight more after intermission in the one-sided win over neighboring rival Stillwater.

Six Red Raiders connected for goals with Colin McNutt and Andrew Kraszewski scoring hat tricks, while Wyqie Aguda and TJ Bisaillon both found the back of the net twice.

Mechanicville keeper Glenn Prarie saved six and combined with the Red Raider “D” for the shutout.

Waterford 3 Berlin/New Lebanon 3: The Fordians and Mountaineers were tied 1-1 after one half of play, and ended the match deadlocked at 3-3 on Wednesday.

Joshua Catanzarita with two goals and Jarron McQuire with a single strike provided the Fordians offense.

Kasey Billert scored all three goals for the Mountaineers.

Tamarac 6 Hoosick Falls 3: The Bengals exploded for five first half goals and cruised from there to the road victory over the Panthers of Hoosick Falls.

Ethan Brown with two goals and Alex Ednie, Adam Fountain, Xander Gliosco and Nevin Wilkie all with single tallies paced the Bengal attack.

Max Archambault, Connor Powers and Alex Salvesvold all rang the bell with second half goals for the Falls.

Girls Soccer; Red Raiders Roll

Mechanicville 8 Berlin/New Lebanon 0: Six Raiders scored in Mechanicville’s one-sided decision over Berlin/New Lebanon on Tuesday.

Patty Snyder with two goals and three assists, and Madelyn Shakow with a pair of goals led the Raider attack.

Mechanicville keeper Dani Rubino saved four shots to record the shutout, while also connecting on a goal as well.

Tamarac 2 Waterford 1: The Bengals Jenna Hunt and Bre Evertsen found the back of the net with first half strikes, and the Tamarac defense pitched a shutout after the break in the Bengals narrow victory over the visitors from Waterfod.

Addyson Galuski tallied in the first half for Waterford.

Stillwater 5 Berlin/New Lebanon 0: Teya Staie with a pair of goals and Trinity Cutler, Kylie Peacock and Isabella Estill with single strikes led the Warriors past Berlin/New Lebanon on Monday.

Stillwater keeper Kiersten Conroy saved four shots in the shutout, while Kai Krause turned back 19 shots for the Mountaineers.

Red Raiders Turn Back Fonda

Luciano D’Ambro threw for a touchdown and added a running score as well to lead Mechanicville to a 20-10 road win over Fonda on Saturday.

D’Ambro gave the Raiders a 6-0 first quarter lead on a 48 yard touchdown run, but in the second frame Fonda responded with a Connor Weaver touchdown pass to Nate Mycek and added a safety in the period to take a 10-6 advantage into the break.

After intermission the Raiders took the lead for good when D’Ambro connected with Kyle Johnson on a 54 yard scoring strike giving Mechanicville a 14-10 lead heading to the final frame.

In the fourth a Mason Angiano 8-yard touchdown run closed things out for the Raiders who with the win improve to 2-1 on the year.

Hoosick Falls/Tamarac Tops Taconic Hills

Michael D’Agostino threw for a pair of touchdowns and ran for another leading Hoosick Falls/Tamarac past Taconic Hills 38-8 Friday night.

D’Agostino connected with James Blake on a 35-yard scoring strike in the first period and found Dylan Baker for a 15 yard TD in the second frame.

Peyton Nealone added a pair of rushing touchdowns and kicker Andrew Yerdon was good on five point afters and drilled a 28 yard field goal for Hoosick Falls/Tamarac who led 14-0 after the first and 35-0 at the break.

Witch the win HF/Tam improves to 3-0 on the season.
