Take Away:  The Raiders trailed 1-0 after the first but dominating the rest of the way, scoring runs in each of the next five frames while shutting down the Saints attack, posting the one-sided road “W” on Wednesday.  Richardson threw seven strong innings, and the Raider defense was flawless behind the big right-hander.  The Mechanicville bats rattled for 16 safeties with Richardson, Coreno, Couser, Mark Pingelski, Fen Egan and Jack Brue all enjoying multiple hit games.

Take Away:  Stillwater plated three in the first and third frames, more than enough for Resch who limited the visitors to a pair of hits in leading the Warriors to the home victory over Cambridge.

Take Away:  In a game that saw each team score in just one inning, Greenwich used a six-run sixth, to come all the way back and post the win in Schaghticoke.  The Valley scored five times in the first and held that lead until the Greenwich sixth where the Witches edged in front highlighted by Allen’s three run round tripper.

Take Away:  In a game that was close throughout with two ties and four lead changes, the Raiders scored a pair in the bottom half of the fifth breaking a 3-3 deadlock and held on to post the well-earned “W” over the Saints of Saratoga Catholic. The Saints held leads of 1-0, and 2-1 over the first three frames but Mechanicville answered every time taking the lead for good in the pivotal fifth inning.

Hitting Stars:  Falls – Carson Glover go-ahead RBI single in the seventh          Witches – Aiden Waite 2-run single

Take Away:  Tied 3-3 entering the seventh, Glover’s RBI knock proved to be the difference in the Panthers road win.  Hoosick Falls rides a strong pitching outing by Sparks and moves to 5-6 in league play with the victory.  Greenwich with the loss goes to 4-4 in Wasaren action.

Take Away:  The Bengals took a 5-3 lead into the fifth where they scored eight times to take control and closed things out with four more in the sixth, notching the win in Schaghticoke.  Tamarac compiled 16 hits on the day with Collins, Blake, Lee, DeLorenzo and Natalya Horton all enjoying multiple-hit afternoons.  With the victory the Bengals move to 7-0, 5-0 on the season.

Take Away:  Tamarac plated three in the second frame, building a 4-1 advantage and were never headed in posting the “W” over the Crusaders of Catholic Central.  The Bengals ripped 11 hits and played errorless ball defensively to earn their sixth win in as many outings this year.
