Take Away: The Raiders trailed 1-0 after the first but dominating the rest of the way, scoring runs in each of the next five frames while shutting down the Saints attack, posting the one-sided road “W” on Wednesday. Richardson threw seven strong innings, and the Raider defense was flawless behind the big right-hander. The Mechanicville bats rattled for 16 safeties with Richardson, Coreno, Couser, Mark Pingelski, Fen Egan and Jack Brue all enjoying multiple hit games.

Take Away: In a game that saw each team score in just one inning, Greenwich used a six-run sixth, to come all the way back and post the win in Schaghticoke. The Valley scored five times in the first and held that lead until the Greenwich sixth where the Witches edged in front highlighted by Allen’s three run round tripper.
