Fittingly Friday night’s game between the visiting Panthers of Hoosick Falls, and their hosts, the Warriors of Stillwater, needed an extra session to determine it’s outcome. The two squads needed every second of regulation and a four minute overtime, and when the final horn sounded Hoosick Falls came away with the well-earned 59-57 victory, handing the Warriors their first league loss of the season. Granville Wrestlers 4-1 at Tartan Duals
The Granville wrestlers had a big day at the Tartan Duals rolling to victories in four of their five dual matches.
The Golden Horde defeated Corinth (53-27), Canajoharie/Ft. Plain (60-17), Catskill (47-30), and Scotia (45-33), while losing only to Saratoga (66-18).
Granville improves to 11-6 on the season.
