Last night it was a coin flip as to which game I’d go to see, Stillwater/Hoosick Falls boys, or Tamarac/Hoosic Valley girls. It turns out either would have been the right call. Both games had big implications in the league title chase, and both contests were overtime decisions, with the Valley putting away the Bengals 55-46 in OT to stay just one game behind front running Hoosick Falls in the race for the Wasaren crown. The first place Panthers of Hoosick Falls had a battle with Cambridge for three periods before posting the victory, while Hoosic Valley and Stillwater enjoyed comfortable “W’s”. Continue reading

Girls squads for all eight league schools take to the court tonight, four of whom have a legitimate shot at the league title. The lead quartet, separated by just two games, see’s Hoosick Falls setting the pace at 8-1, Hoosic Valley and Tamarac just a game back at 7-2, and Cambridge at 6-3, still in the hunt as well for the Wasaren crown.
