The Section II baseball tournament took center stage on Thursday with five Wasaren teams in Class B, and C taking the field in quarterfinal contests. Greenwich, Hoosic Valley and Granville all posted win, while Tamarac and Stillwater season’s ended.

Key Stat: The Horde scored the lone run of the game in the fourth parlaying their only two hits of the contest and a sac fly into just enough offense for the win. Patch dominated the Panther lineup allowing just one base runner on the day.
