With five days of official practices in the book, today is a scrimmage Saturday for most of the area football teams.  Three, sometimes four or five squads will come together and work against each other in a controlled environment with live action. 

A great opportunity for the players at the end of week one to have game-like conditions against someone other than your own teammates.

Here are a few of the league teams that stepped on the field on Scrimmage Saturday.

Stillwater @ Hudson Falls

Hoosick Falls and Mechanicville @ Schuylerville

Cambridge along with three other squads @ Greenwich.

I hope to get out to a practice or two this coming week and put together a feature article on a league team and their outlook on the upcoming season.
